] Date Posted: 16:09:01 08/29/02 Thu In reply to: hobie 's message, "Long Trip. Will Put Me Over 36k, Ext. Warranty?" on 05:24:17 08/29/02 Thu I have been thinking about the whole extended warranty issue, and have yet to make up my mind. It is a gamble, if you buy one you are betting that you will have problems that will equal or exceed the amount you pay for it. I know I can fix any problem I have so labor is not an issue, but time can be and some of the parts can be VERY expensive. I have a friend that bought one for his Ford Expolder, his paid off when the ABS unit failed ($1500 bill). From what little I know, $2000 for a bumper to bumper sounds about right. I still don't know the right answer , for me, sorry I can't help you. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
