$500-700 bucks! Musta been a race rad! or custom built?
The one I ordered is a direct replacement radiator.
With the help of my local radiator shop we went through five different suppliers and found two that used the 1 3/8" cores. Then with his experience , chose the one I ordered since it has heavier headers (less likely to crack) , deeper seal wells (allowing for a better seal to be used) and thicker tanks with the big reinforcing ribs. It was $35 more for the one I ordered, but the other one with the 1 3/8" core was an import ,cheaply built, and durability is a concern for me.
They are manufactured in the USA , and I can't remember the name (started with a G? I think?). I'll post the name and part # when it arrives.
I don't know when it will arrive, since I had him just order it when he has another one to order, to save me the $15 freight.
I'm not really in a hurry now that the weather has started to turn.
