Subject: Act or lament

Hi folks! I don't stop by this forum very often
but combining my own sentiments with some of those
that I've read in other posts, I have a suggestion.
I think most fans of Shawn Lane would enjoy hearing
from him, on CDs, more often. I would even use the
word frustrated to describe their mood. So, we can
lament the obstacles that Shawn faces and idly sit by
and hope that he will overcome them. That is a very
passive approach. Alternatively, we can ask Shawn
what it is that we can do to expedite the process
of making his next CD. I may be mistaken, but this
oftentimes is principally a matter of money. So
here's my suggestion. To Shawn: How much "NO
STRINGS ATTACHED" money would you need to be raised
by your fans to pay the reasonable costs of a new
Shawn Lane CD production?? To the fans: If you want
a new CD, you need to be more proactive than to simply
buy a finished CD for $15. Are people willing to donate
some money to the project with the only stipulation is
that the money must go towards a new Shawn Lane CD?
Currently, I am unemployed but I'd still contribute.
Is anyone interested? Does anyone have a better suggestion
on how to facilitate the making of a new CD?? Comments,
questions, or criticisms??
