Subject: Some stuff to take note of... (ALL HANDLERS SHOULD READ) Author: Styles Morgan [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 17:54:09 08/20/02 Tue Okay kiddies, you're friendly neighborhood Entertainer here to let you in on some info, and also to ask some ?'s. 1) The fed officially opens Monday, August 26th (which is less than a week away), but you can feel free to role-play now in order to start developing some angles and heat with other wrestlers. 2) The official tourney brackets will be posted once we have 16 wrestlers, so if you haven't talked to some efed buddies you know on the net, telling them to join, you better start doing it! And that's an order!!! Ahem... 3) The first event is Tuesday September 10th, and will be a huge card, larger than usual, with all first round tourney matches taking place. The eight that lose in the first round will automatically be entered into an 8 man Battle Royal for the Defiant (hardcore) Title the following Tuesday. We in AWE believe in giving everyone an equal shot at winning a title. 4) Friday Fury will be a break from the tourney, involving some matches of guys fueding on the board, and perhaps matches the staff would like to see in order to mix things up a bit. Oh and by the way Fury is always summarized results with the exception of the MAIN EVENT. 5) The first issue of the AWE Magazine will be published by September 2nd, and will include a variety of cool features, so look for it! 6) The first PPV will be September 29th and is called ONSLAUGHT. Some big matches will be going down, it should be a great event! 7) Make sure to make good use of the FORMS page (link on the left side), and remember that you have to submit angles in order for your stuff to happen. 8) We are still tweaking the page as time goes on, but by the end of the week every page will be perfectly up and running. ALRIGHTY!!! I think that's all the info for now, but we'll keep you posted. Now to leave you with some ?'s we'd like you to respond to. (Reiterating) How do you want the tourney brackets done, ranking system, or random draw? What are your expectations for AWE? (be general or specific, you choose) What at this point (I know it's early) do you like / dislike about AWE?
