-Awakening a short time after midnight, she lies still for a moment until her location and her reason for being there hits. Pushing the blanket off her, she rises off the couch - still wearing her dayclothes - and pads softly down the hall to his room. She releases a quiet sigh, pushes open the door, and crawls onto the bed beside him - not wishing to wake him, just not wanting to be alone...-
