The Coast:
You come to a picturesque beach, with shining white sand, turquoise waters, and lush oases growing almost up to the water in some places. A pure stream runs through it all, a tributary to the ocean. This is the coast of the Southern Continent, where man and dragon alike come to frolick in the waves, and drink from the (unusually) cool stream water.

Avoiding the wrath of Raja -- Desaline n' Eyrieth/ S'von n' Connarth/ N'gar n' Vasilth/ Thayeth n' Pardeth, 20:33:33 11/14/02 Thu
"She's going to find us," a somber alto voice stated bluntly from her position beneath a shady ledge. The speaker, a young greenrider known as Desaline, ran a concerned hand through her hair. A strong grip suddenly placed itself on her shoulder, and the greenrider turned to smile half-heartedly at the tanned face of S'von. The bronzerider's hair was bleached from many months of saltspray and sun, and with a sudden mental laugh, Desaline decided she didn't mind his touch... Thayet grinned bemusedly from where she lay on the sands, she remembered well how Desaline and S'von had at first despised each other... originally planned marriage candidates, they'd both become candidates for dragons, Impressed, and well... the freedom that came with being a Rider had loosened the tension between them. The brunette snorted as Pardeth's thoughts touched her mind, A little too loose if you ask me. Thayet shrugged and rolled over to move a little closer to N'gar, dozing contentedly in sun to her right. She watched him sleep a few moments, and shook her head, Perhaps they'd lend a little looseness over to him. Pardeth rolled her eyes, sending and apologetic glance at N'gars bronze Vasilth. The smallish bronze was too busy enjoying a swim in the ocean to pay any attention. His wing flipped water at the forest hide of Eyrieth, who retaliated with a a smack of her tail, sending a wave of water carrening towards Vasilth's face. Pardeth rolled her eyes then bugled in glee as the water battle grew to full out warfare and the contentedly sunning Connarth got doused with water. The rage of the dragon was unleashed and the massive bronze literally dove into the water, rearing on his hind legs and propelling masses of water at both of the combatants, driving them under with both wings flinging good old h2o at anyone and everything. All 'Riders took cover as the water flew, wrath of the weyrwoman momentarily forgotten as they ran from a seemingly Dragon-powered flood!!!

The two slowly make their way to the Coast, lazily meandering toward the azure waters... -- S'har & Reputh, 15:08:02 08/20/02 Tue
They walk along the surf for a bit, white sea-foam licking at feet both flesh- and scale-covered, both now generously covered in blindingly-white sand. Reputh is the first ot speak.

'They are not coming, or have already left.' The rumbling voice is flat, both emotionless, and conveying deep disapointment. He had been looking forward to this, very much.

Seeking a way to make the little brown feel better, S'har says, voice cheerful if a bit forced "It's a good thing you invited Lorelei and...what was her name again?"

'Aledath.' Reputh picks up his step a little. S'har was right; there were still friends coming. The brown glances toward the greenish-blue water longingly, deeply desiring immersion in the cool liquid lapping at his claws.

Correctly interpreting the dragonling's glance, S'har smiles. "Not yet. Wait for Aledath."

A large rock outcropping soon comes into view. Seeing Lrelei and Aledath still aren't present, they stretch out on the warm surface, smooth from centuries of ocean tide lappping over it. The two are soon dozing, waiting for their friends to appear.

She was in high spirits, the beach always made her feel this way. Oli looked exitedly at the sand, then curiously observed the waves. {Could we go swimming?! Please?} The dracling's hopeful plea caused Ser to smile softly at her. "Sure,but let's wait for our friends, then we can all go for a swim. {Good idea.}
