She missed Aoshi. He wasn't around very much anymore. She had thought that they were doing better now, but maybe she had been wrong. He always seemed so distant, wanting so much more to do something other than be with her. He had barely spent any time with Isis at all since she was born, which worried her some. Isis wanted to know her father, but Aoshi seemed wary of allowing it. Sighing softly, navy ooids flickered heavenward, gazing at the bright full moon. It was so beautiful. She was slowly getting used to being what she now was. She hadn't fed at all yet, which was probably why she didn't feel very well. Her skin was pale and waxy. She knew it wasn't a good thing at all, but she was too worried and depressed to really care. At least Isis was doing good. She was wandering to and fro all over the place. Exploring and learning seemed to be her favorite things. A soft smile played at the minx's lips as she thought more about her beautiful daughter.
