She nodded, looking away. A very light blush creeped into her pale cheeks. She hadn't meant to push him away. Licking her lips, she continued to stare at the ground as she spoke.

I'm sorry. I just...I feel like I'm more of a burden to you than anything else. I want things I can't have because it's hard for you...and then it makes you feel bad that you can't give those things to me, and I feel bad for making you feel bad.

She couldn't look at him as she stopped speaking. She hated how they couldn't be together in every way that she wanted, but she couldn't blame Aoshi for it. She understood and she didn't want him to feel burdened because of her. That was the last thing she wanted. She just wished things weren't so complicated...
