In reply to: James Sass 's message, "Cold Steel Crossada" on 17:33:25 06/05/02 Wed

Crossada: James, Terry, et all:
Many details are still being worked out. Including a modification to the grip (slight modification). 3 Protos made from different steels exist now. Testing is being done,conclusions-final choices will move from there.
Lynn is a stickler for quality-performance and reliability. He has never let the public down because of this standard of excellence. He himself KNOWS how to fight (does fight) and it reflects in his designs and company. The current protos reflect the classic "baby Excalibur" design that it had for many years until Wendell Fox and I began experimenting with some alternative designs. Those were successful also !

I hope that CS goes ahead and makes TRAINERS of Aluminum like I initially did. Those are what really makes the real Crossadas attributes applicable. As more develops on the choices of steel, final design and all for this new Crossada, I will keep everyone informed.

I'd like to someday do a "Crossada seminar" even...

Thanx all for being here.
Always,
JAK
(Oh yeah, watch for my take on the new Cold Steel six part knife fighting series in the coming weeks. Professionally tactically taught by Lynn, Big Robert and Scott)
