Hi Mike, you made some good points my friend. On the "Less than lethal" and "lethal force lines".... Just around 9-11 I wrote an article along w/ Keith Maza for a large law enforcement journal. It was put off. Not published. Then as 9-11 played out, shit changed. Three days ago I was asked if I'd re-spin that piece for publication. BUT.... They did not want our original stuff as per what was "KOSHER" then IE: Less than Lethal...... The rub was this, now Law Enforcment has gone (trends) to a very LETHAL FORCE mentality... So now, IF.. we respin this piece, it must read LETHAL...(cause thats where everyones head is at... So, after YEARS of explanations and apologies for being "lethal", now, it's great guns.. kill'em all and let gawd sort;em out... SHHIT ! LE is just a pack of lost lads following the latest trends in combat-fashion, no real thought, just point of purchase madness... yes, I NEED THAT NEW (ineffective-but purty) wunder 9mm. This here OLD .357 just won't due..SHIT... trends and fashion... So, as Ninja of old, one must play the chameleon to it's utmost. Like hollywood, indeed..give the people what they want. AND CONTINUE DOING WHAT YOU KNOW IS RIGHT ALONG ! (Tis why karate was practiced in the graveyards and at nite, they knew, we know, by the time the masses catch up and KNOW, it is too late. Things have moved on again, never follow trends, question them. Never disobey your heart, listen. Always be proud of who you are and what you know. There is no second rate Ferrari or Porsche, and our art, (ANY of what you readers play)much like these powerful cars, has no equal either. Walk tall my bruthas, respect yo'self, if you don't, who will ? It starts at home, in backyards and garages, an underground movement of martial freebooters seeking the path. Unstoppable. Tigers in the bamboo thicket........
