• She had been pleasantly surprised by the invite - it had never really occurred to her that he too had a home, and so had never been suspicious, or even really curious, until now. Curious that was now - not suspicious. He hadn't said anything about dressing up, so she too was going for her typical casual look - faded denims fit to her hips and a thin soft pink long-sleeved tee to her torso. • "You're the best." She responded matter-of-factly as her dark, affectionate gaze followed his gesturing around and then returned to him, head tilted delicately. "Smells great, sweetheart... Show me around first?" It seemed to make things so much more official for her to be in his place - like he had actually invited her over, and so was actually interested in sharing even more of himself with her. She reminded him with a wink - though elegant and definitely not inexpensive, her studio was lacking in the space department - and glanced back and up to him before looking into his room. • He shrugged a little, he was still way to insecure about his lack of financial stability around her - he couldn't give her any of the things she was used to and he would never, ever, be able to break his pride enough to live off of her money, or her fathers money. Settling into her seat, she leaned back, and then forward again as she waited patiently for him to set everything up, an absent smile playing over her features and eyes never leaving him - so impressed and touched that he had gone to all the trouble, even if the dinner was mostly casual.. She stated simply before digging into her meal with an affectionate wink - it wasn't that she was a bad cook, it was more just that she was lazy. • She wasn't like that at all really. The only time that she really showed her upbringing was when it came to getting her way about something - other than that, she was nothing but normal. When she said that she liked his place - she had meant it, it wasn't just something that she said. "I haven't had a real, good meal in a long time." "I am good with just staying in, we can play cards or watch a movie or just making love all night long would be ok too."
