your tranny needs to rebuild. drain your fluid and see if its black...if so get it flushed and change the fluid that might buy you some time before it completely fails. theres no filter on that to change that i know of. only strainers in the lockup solonoid control valves.
to rebuild u will need a rebuilt kit for that... cost about $150. if your a VERY good do it yourselfer you can save a fortune by dropping the tranny yourself carrying it to get rebuilt and reinstalling it yourself. Get a Haynes Manual to show you how...its not terribly difficult. or if your brave use the instructions that come with the rebuild kit to rebuild it yourself...like I said if your VERY good at that sort of thing and know what is what(may need some special tools too!). otherwise your lookin at a minimum of $900 for labor for them to do everything. good luck.
one more option is to buy an already rebuilt one and installing yourself. dont know how much they go for..look online. good luck
