Sequiera,

If I understand you correctly, you're saying that when you push the switch on the door by the door handle, all the doors will lock and unlock just fine except for the drivers door. Do you have the keyless entry? If so, does the drivers door not work properly with the keyless? Last question, does the drivers door lock/unlock okay with the key?

If all of this is true, I'm betting that the drivers door lock motor (actuator) is bad or the wiring to it is bad. The way to find out is to remove the inner door panel, disconnect the lock motor connector and check for voltage when you push the lock switch. If you have voltage, then the actuator is bad. You can get a new actuator for about $42 at the dealer, or about $31 on-line. After shipping the cost is a bit closer, so it may just be easier to buy it at the local dealer.

If there is no voltage, then the wiring must have a break in it somewhere. You still might want to check the actuator by removing it and applying 12V to it to double check it is bad.

If I've gotten the symptoms wrong above, please provide more detail about what exactly happens....hope this helps..glen
