I dont know if this will help, I have a 90 accord and there is a bleeder valve on top of my thermostat housing. Loosen the valve(you may have to take it all the way out) if coolant comes out no air at that point, if have air you may want to check it for several days, but if no coolant comes out remove the radiator cap will force the air out. I did this to mine just 2 days ago the whole top of the t-stat housing was filled with air, I'm also having heating problems just my luck the blower motor crapped out the next day.
