Poor Phae ... you lost by two points! :(

You know, with only about four people playing, it's pretty competitive! Only two games separating 7 teams at the top! Whee!

And here's a preview of next week's rematches!

The Sunnydale WhiteKnights will be travelling to Xander's XFL, who will be looking to avenge a crushing 85-70 early season defeat. XFL team owner Mon is joining the squad as an honorary cheerleader to fool UHC.

The Master's Army of Darkness hosts the #1 BFFL team, The Spuffy Killers, in the second round of this rivalry. The Army came close to dropping Tim's powerhouse team early in the year - and this time, they'll be looking for some payback.

The Sunnydale Big Bads (3-7) host the English Watches (2-8) in the most meaningless game of the season thus far. The Watchers got their first win against the Big Bads after a tight loss to the Apocalypse - then dropped five straight and seven of eight overall.

Kalamazoo Trav and his green shiny Monk Keys, fresh off a narrow 2 point victory over the Hellmouth Spike Babes, which was made possible by a meaningless Jason Elam field goal -- well the Keys will be hosting the Boston Werewolves, who average quite a few points a game themselves. But after four weeks of low scores, Trav has found his rhythm again.

And in the game of the week, the showdown to end all showdowns, the Hellmouth Spike Babes host the Wolfram & Hart Apocalypse. That's right, baby, it's the second coming and everyone's invited! A.P. needs a win to stay neck and neck with Tim and Trav, but a loss for Phae puts her three games out of first place with only six weeks left in the season. The last time they met, the Apocalypse stole a win by 2 points - you've got to think the Babes are going to be ready for him this time and they're not going to lose another close one this time.

And in other news, nobody but Tim, Mon, A.P., and Phae give a rat's ass about the BFFL anyway. Oh well :)

Lot of "if only" last night. If only they hadn't gone for that useless fieldgoal. If only Sharpe hadn't gone out of the game early. If only Griese could have connected a few more times. If only they had used Portis on that last drive. If only they could have stopped Garner a little!!!!

I'm depressed :-(
