Week 14 recap!

Fred Taylor and Jamie Sharper did a great job of carrying the Apocalypse to a victory over the Whiteknights in a low scoring game where the average QB score was -1. Quincy Morgan and Ricky Williams provided almost the entire WhiteKnight offense, but it just wasn't enough for the wily boys from Wolfram & Hart, who are just a game out of first and a few weeks from destroying the world.

The Werewolves and Army had another tight game. Somehow the Wolves are in third place despite never updating their roster in apparently, ever. Spooky.

Tim's team, the Killers, beat up on yet another cupcake on his super-soft schedule, the Sunnydale Big Bads. Tim has yet to beat a team with a score over 85. Eventually, some defense somewhere is going to notice Priest Holmes and shut his sorry ass down. Had the Big Bads filled their two vacant positions with quality replacements, little Timmy would have lost. Point to ponder...

The Watchers got off their asses and ended up destroying the Monk Keys by a 2 to 1 margin - on the nose. Deuce McAllister, Laverneus Coles, and Steve Smith went absolutely crazy, and those three players alone could have won the game for the Watchers with lots of room left over. I sure am glad I don't play them again! I've got the Army and Keys who are averging in the 60's; only Mon figures to give me any trouble at all. But if I couldn't get her boy, I'm gonna beat up on a girl. Ha!

The Babes continued their winning ways, knocking off Xander's XFL. But they still need three wins and three Killers losses, plus two Apocalypse losses, a Keys loss, a Wolves loss, and an XFL loss, to take the title.

But with six weeks left, seven teams are within two games of first. Three are within one game of first. And the cellar is all dead teams. Looks like all the people who tried will finish with a winning record!

Good luck to all in the final days. Cheers...

And throughout history good record teams have been trashed because of their "soft" schedule but the wise know that in order to get a GOOD record you still have to beat your opponents. Soft schedule or not. Can I help it that I had a good draft as well. *tucks at shirt ala Sammy Sosa after a homerun* ;)
