Subject: Eye Loss

My now six year old daughter fell in love with this ball of fluff she later named Oscer after half the day of begging and promising to tend his every whim my husband gave in and bourght her the puppy.
Oscer we found out is a pek/chin mix with a sweet dispasition and extremly smart. he was house trained within two weeks and what a cuddle bug.the perfect indoor littile girl dog.

six months latter Oscers right eye poped completely out of his socket we tryed to save it but ended up having to remove it. just last week his left eye did the same thing.

Can anyone offer any helpful information concerning this type of experiance for the following

1.stats on how commonly known is this to breeders
2.Any input on caring for a blind puppy
3.Any ideas on how to deal with the petshop/breeder who sold us Oscer

Thank you for any information and your time
Oscer turns one on the 20th of jan 2003
