Depending on where you live you can contact the Canadian Kennel Club, www.ckc.ca, or the American Kennel Club, www.akc.org, and request a bit of information on your dog if your dog is a purebred Pekingese. In Canada, CKC regulations state that any dog leaving the breeders premises must be marked with some sort of identification whether it be microchipped or tattoed.
