The last dog I adopted from the ASPCA (a mixed breed) was expecting and I saw her through the births of 6 pups. The organization had promised to take them back, but I kept 2. Long story short ... Seven is a large litter for any dog to manage. Start supplementing with fortified milk ASAP. And watch that she doesn't exhaust herself "supervising" them. Create an area similar to the "nest" she chose or created to give birth in that's separate and gradually "time" the puppies' visits (several weeks after birth) interspersing with the supplemented milk. Dog moms tend to try to clean up after their young and "supervise" them when they themselves need rest. This was also true of my first dog, a pure bred German Shepherd.
