I'm wondering because that is my nickname as well and I was wondering how you came to have it.

I was told it is short for my middle name - Mansel

its just a word we use around here to describe something thats manky, manky meaning dirty, grubby, unwashed.

no offence ment but thats how its used around north wales, i just like the word.
