Subject: The Appleseed figures DO NOT suck (txt)

I scored 2 sets through eBay, and they're pretty nice for what they are: trading figures. They're 1:18 scale, so they fit in with Microman, GI Joe, etc. Deunan, Kudoh and Priss have optional trigger-finger right hands to hold their removable weapons (pistol and rifle for Deunan, same rifle for Priss, longer rifle for Kudoh); Briareos has only a trigger-finger right hand for his pistol and rifle. Briareos is by far the best figure, with the most points of articulation (forearm swivels and solid Microman double-ball shoulders). Deunan's shoulder armor fits a little loosely, but I created a retaining lip with a few layers of superglue to snug the fit. I also used superglue to snug loose wrists (varies from figure to figure). Kudoh and Priss don't have the extra abdomen articulation, and they and Deunan don't have the forearm swivels. Every figure I've got is well-painted with no misses and little to no slop.
