Subject: Jazzwares Megaman Figures... Good? Pics and reviews

I Can't belive it I never thought i'd say this when i first saw them but i just bought and liked the new jazzwares Megaman figures.

First things first, after doing some studying I have come to the conclusion there are like 3 generations of Jazzwares figures...

When they first came out they were terrible, The Paint App's were really crappy and low quality very messy figures. They had bloated goofy heads as well, just real all around cheap junk.

The 2nd Generation of Jazzwares figures fixed the paint, to being okay and they still had the bloated heads.

Now theres a new 3rd generation of Figures that I think are actually Nice, Not only do they have fixed paint apps they actually have GOOD paint apps, very crisp clean and clear. The head arn't Bloated anymore. I was comparing them in the store, and they have the same headsculpt but the newer ones are a little smaller in size and not as bloated and have much crisper detail. They look allot better.

The first two genrations of Megaman came with Fliptop as a sidekick, the new One thats good Comes with Beat the Bird thing.

These newest figures I think are pretty decent. The Headsculps could still use some work, but overall everything else is good.

They have pretty good articulation, Paint apps are now good, sculptings pretty good, and I love the little accessories they come with of eneimes and aliies.

When I was kid I remeber dreaming about getting megeman toys and that was one of the things i wanted, was like all little things you fight packed in as accesories, so to finally see that happen with non exe stuff is great I think.

I also now think Jazzwares has Bandai beat in one department... The Bandai Kit figures use allot of stickers to add color to the figures, I've never really been a fan of that. Like on Forte his gold detailing on his head fins is messed up because you literally have to fold up a sticker to get it to fit the curving surface. So it looks kinda cheap having a crumpled up sticker, it should just be pre-painted. Plus sometimes theres missing paint detail like forte's purple eye things. So Having everything painted is very nice.

I gotta say of what I have Megaman X is my favorite, he ctually has a good headsculpt, and he just looks all around pretty nice. Quickman is really cool because They actually Made Quickman!! I like his quick Boomerang blaster and he's pretty nice looking too.

So Overall I don't think there the greatest thing ever, but these new assorments have just improved ten fold over the junk jazzwares initially released. The heads could use a little bit more work but Overall I think they are pretty cool and worth picking up especially cause there cheap too. Like 6$ at KB.

KB is the only place I've seen the new fixed figures so far, and strangley enough at least in my area these appear to be selling pretty well. I Hope they re-release Vile with good Paint apps, and a regular Zero and Bass. In Addition I would LOVE to Finally get a Sigma, Duo, Gutsman, Snakeman, Fireman, Magama Dragoon, oh theres just so much untapped potential. Plus all the X armors.

I havent checked but It'd be cool if if the new Mattel NT stuff is about the same size as these too. Speaking of which that just reminded me of one thing that bugs me a little is they make megaman X and megaman characters the same size. When megaman characters should be a little smaller.
