Subject: FUNi going all out on Fullmetal Alchemist!

Some key comments from an AnimeonDVD.com Otakon report.

"In addition to the tins for Fullmetal Alchemist, FUNimation is also attempting to get the rights to release figures and other such merchandise for that property."

So the DVDs will come in tins? :D Hopefully the get the rights to those figures shown at E3! They had better get a watch!

"The movie is indeed a possibility, but nothing could be said at this time. The Cartoon Network broadcast will be uncut, but digital painting to reduce blood and things of that sort might happen if CN thinks its necessary. FUNi is working to get as many of the Japanese extras as possible. Only the first OP sequence will be used for the CN broadcast, but all the correct OP and ED sequences will be present on the DVDs. The dub that was presented at Otakon is not the finished dub; there is still some rerecording and other minor work to be done. The price per DVD is $24.98 as is the standard for the majority of FUNi's DVDs."

Japanese extras = watch? Cosplay or not I really want one of those watches (for free ;) ).

And uncut on CN, whoo hoo!
