The other item that nags at the back of my mind is that Bin Laden has not been captured, yet we have the capability to take him. Saddam was easy. So, let's say for laughs and giggles our government is the one doing this, that would mean both Bush and Clinton are in on it, which means they are taking orders from someone higher up.

While I still think Bush is the better of the two as someone who supports the military (you have to see it from my perspective), it has been five years and we still can't bring the mastermind to justice. So, that begs the question of OBL being smarter than the CIA or that letting him go since we don't need a martyr OR that not capturing him is part of the deal?

We nearly had him before and Clinton choked. Because if he wasn't that distracted by the Lewinsky scandal, as he claims, then why let him go? I hardly believe the fine sensibilities of civilian casualties stopped him from doing it. Clinton had the gall to send the military in to Kosovo to end ethnic cleansing, so why develop a noodle spine to get rid of someone who had already committed a terror strike on our soil against us?
