IMO, that is.

I'd have preferred a school name, a teacher's name. The site posting that this happened in Washington leaves me walking away with too many questions left unanswered.

Could it be that this English class is reading literature that includes fictional accounts of government and the characters' feelings, involvement? In that instance it's an innocuous assignment, inspiring students to think and find their personal values. Not necessarily to collect information or train young patriot minds.

The internet has the power to spread good information, and disinformation. And I'd have loved a more full account of the when, where, why. That helps me to search it out, and if moved, disagree more fully in writing to the parties involved.
