Subject: Nazi war criminals unjustly charged?

The Nuremberg International Military Tribunal charged the SS war criminals with laws made AFTER the crime.   Was it a political process?   Can one really try someone with laws created AFTER the crime?!   Considering that these laws were NOT in effect AT THE TIME of the Nazi war crimes, is it not correct to say that those who today break the same laws are MORE GUILTY than people who didn't break the same laws since the laws didn't even exist at the time of the crimes?

Watching the U.S. Neo-cons have made me seriously re-evaluate Hitler.   Simply put, he probably wasn't the evil person he is made out to be.   Perhaps he didn't even know about the extermination of various unwanted elements, because he didn't want to know and because he let others handle the details, even it all.   He delegated.  (I think that this is something your present great leader also does.)   Thus Hitler had plausible deniability.   As the head of state he is of course morally responsible anyway, just like G W Bush is for every assassination, murder and torture done in his name.   But Adolf Hitler may well have shielded himself from fully understanding the scale of the evil.   Being surrounded only by loyal people.   Just like G W Bush.   And thus it may be also with G W Bush, that he truly is not aware of the evil done in his name.   But thanks to the Nuremberg International Military Tribunal principles now in place, G W Bush is actually MORE GUILTY than even Adolf Hitler.   For what is done in his name...
