Whatever gave you that idea?! ("You give the appearance of an United States hater.")
I hate Evil, and Evil is now at the helm, just as it was in Germany 70 years ago. If I then had said that I hated the ideology of Nazism because of the Evil it was causing, would that make me hate Germany? No, I don't think so. Only in the eyes of the Nazis. In the same manner, I love the US but I hate what is being done in it's name. And I try my best to wake people in and out of the US up, so the forces of change will work both from within and from without. Is it because I say that your country presently is acting in a morally despicable way -- and doesn't even appear to be aware of this fact -- that you think that I would hate it? Have you heard of the phrase "Hate the sin but love the sinner"? I hate the Evil/"sin" but love the U.S./"sinner". The first step to repentance is admitting the sin, or in this case, Evil. Until such a time that the governments and leaders that are in on this -- and I wouldn't be surprised if that includes the head of state in my own country -- admit the Evil, and start to make moves toward repentance, it is a moral imperative to discuss this. Including what possible perverted standards/belief-sets/mind-sets that might make seemingly decent loving and loyal people direct the affairs of state in such a way that acts once universally denounced as evil crimes against humanity regularly are used to further the interests of said state. Like I discussed in my http://voy.com/90094/7271.html message regarding "Standards and belief-sets/mind-sets that cause Evil must be openly discussed".
It is true that I am morally upset to the marrow of my bones, and beyond. But I do not hate either Adolf Hitler or George Walker Bush. And neither Nazi Germany nor the United States of today. Rather I Understand it more and more. Obviously not the way some of it's citizens would like me to understand it, but nevertheless. People who think I hate the United States do not understand. And I forgive them. In the name of Leif Erlingsson, Amen. (I only speak for myself, not for Christ or anyone else. I do what I believe is right. And I try very hard to understand what is right... that's what has brought me where I am today.)
