But are PATRIOT Act and border control your only concerns?

See, I'm glad he gave tax cuts--great idea. But they should have been accompanied by (at the VERY least) a cap in spending. But noooooo....he gives us the an astronomical deficit. How economically sound is that?

Kyoto, OK, that's good. But it's negated by his pushing for CAFTA. CAFTA undermines our sovereignty and destroys our economy just as surely as Kyoto would. Only diff is conservatives have no qualms trashing the environment, but LOVE those big business folks. So his defeating Kyoto had nothing to do with bedrock principle, it was about keeping his (and his freinds') pocketbook full.

Frivolous lawsuits? That's an interesting one. On the one hand, he limits what a plaintiff's atty can earn in a lawsuit (by capping awards), but he puts no such limits on the defendant's atty's (they can charge what they want and keep the clock ticking as long as they want). Who do you think came up with THAT idea? The fact is 90% of most medical lawsuits end in the defendant's favor. That's where the vast majority of the frivolous lawsuits end up, a pretty good system I'd say. That means that the 10% that the plaintiffs win probably have some pretty legitimate complaints, and the harm done then should be adequately compensated.

OK, this is a good start. You have to admit that you usually come here, post something provocative (i.e. interesting) and then leave. (Even when choosing your own topic, such as chili.) Not very gentlemanly :D
