I can understand your being disturbed by them and worried about the children's response. It's sad that such pictures even exist... but perhaps the use they were put to will bring some benefit by saving other lives.

I wonder sometimes if we latter day saints have become too accepting... we don't believe in abortion, yet we tolerate it... there is something to be said for the old western 'run them out of town' philosophy.

However, that said... it's the same philosophy that had the saints driven from their homes. Of course, we know that the saints were only seeking to live as God commanded them to live, and many abortionists, homosexual advocates, etc. are living and advocating wickedness. And therein lies the problem... we 'know'.... and those mobs surely felt that they 'knew' as well. So knowing isn't enough. We need laws and guidelines that protect our civilization from such wickedness... that protect our children... but our public laws have become so corrupt that we no longer protect our children. They are exposed to things profane and vile all around them. This is not a safe world or child friendly world at all.

Do you think the Savior will hold us accountable that more of us are not standing outside abortion clinics protesting? We don't advocate bombing the clinic... but perhaps more than silence would be good on our part.
