Subject: I don't like the baggage . . .

I don't use either the "pro-life" or "pro-choice" label for myself. Just like I don't like the labels "liberal" or "conservative". A conservative republican is an extremely rare breed, as most republicans today are yesterday's liberals. The only conservative republican that I know is Ron Paul. But I went off in a tangent. Those labels are too much baggage for me. I'm neither "pro-choice" or "pro-life" . . . or maybe I'm both.

I also don't think that the government belongs in the business of abortion. If someone is pro-choice, fine with me, but don't ask me to help pay for your choice of taking someone else's life. If you do, you're worse than a street thug. In case you can't tell, I have a lot of disdain towards anyone who would avail themselves of government assistance to get an abortion. You have your choice to create life however you wish. My choice is to not be a part of killing it. So if you're "pro-choice" don't be a hypocrite. Pay for it yourself.

As for what I would do in the rare event that I had to choose between the life of my baby or the life of my wife, that decision would be as easy as changing my socks. I would spare the life of my wife. But that's just me . . .

Jay
