If an armed citizen is so qualified, then why do we have the kids who didn't rush the shooter until 32 were murdered?

And there truly is not much of a difference in a 'trained' soldier vice an armed citizen, Kellen. Most of the armed citizens who have small weapons and are trained and qualified to use them were taught by someone who has prior military/government service.

I am not talking about a draft. I am talking about the will to protect oneself against a perp against the larger backdrop of this nation.
