timetable. No argument from me that the Vietnam War was micromanaged by politics. The same thing happened in Korea when we had to retreat from the Yalu River and give North Korea back...
History is going to repeat itself. And that sickens me because Jay, you called it when you said the military were victims of the politics of administrations. I couldn't have agreed more, not only in what you said but the circumstances.
General Myers, retired, gave an interesting lecture at the Dole Institute in Kansas. It is an important listen because of the way he views policy; through the lens of the military, and just about flies in the face of the
conventional wisdom re: the military. He absolutely doesn't want a draft...the solution isn't always military
etc.
