. . . I'd say the Republicans have done more to strip our rights (Lincoln, Bush) than the Democrats. If it's preseveration of rights we're talking about, then I would have to go with the Democrats.

But I'll vote for neither Romney nor Clinton. I'll vote myself as a write-in before I'd waste my vote on either of them.

I stand by my previous prediction. After the beating that the Republicans took in '06, if they aren't smart enough to recognize that most Americans don't want the war, they're going to be clobbered even more in '08. And I, for one, will be delighted to see it happen.
