The Germans are now responsbile for their own security. We have been warning them for years, even as they chased around the RAF and profiled terrorists during the Cold War, but never seemed to catch anyone.
Now that we are not the presence there that we once were, guess what...IT IS UP TO THEM! They have kept Hitler's anti gun and anti homeschool laws, and are tarred with WWII.
France has elected the conservative Sarkozy and supposedly while the cars were burning in the 'disaffected youth riots' all over France, he said that were it up to him he would fire hose the streets. About time the EU realized the threat facing them with unrestricted immigration and politically correct nonsense.
Oh, and uh, since they have collectively spit on the US over the years over their elightened self righteousness about it...well, it seems a bit over the top to say 'Told ya so.'
