There's some wackiness going on here at work which inspired a movie idea for a comedic/drama story.
The powerball is now at 160,000,000. About 20 of us pitched in 5 bucks. (We figured, if we win...everyone would receive about 260,000. a year for 20 yrs.)
My idea: One man has gone off and bought the tickets. He discovers that he does hold the only winning ticket. After the weekend, the coworkers come back to work and realize that the one guy....has not come in. In fact, he doesn't show up at all. The next day...no message. One of the employees, goes to the guy's house...and its empty...the guy is gone. The group, the next day, decide to go after and find him. So the rest of the movie is about the group efforts to find and claim their money. I don't know if the guy even has the winning ticket, maybe something else happened and he just up and quit...and the whole manhunt was for nothing....especially if the group...accidentally kills the guy...chasing him and he falls or gets shot...something....
or maybe it should be more dark and sinister and they are very mad and want THEIR MONEY!!
