I think the stubble look is quite different from the shaved look. Really a matter of taste, I guess. I've considered shaving a number of times but never went that far. You've all seen how I've switched to keeping my hair extremely short. I went with the stubble look for a couple of times, but I think my head is too big and fat to pull that off. A little hair on the sides breaks up the egghead look. :-) I think those guys fortunate enough with strong features look great bald. Patric Stewart comes to mind.

Since we're all having our midlife crises, in one way or another, I guess changes come with the territory. I finally shaved off the beard I've had for the last 10 years. I might try actually shaving my head this Summer. Then if I don't like it I can grow it back to where it is now in about a week. :-/

You should see Ken. When he came down to Tucson to visit I was totally unprepared for the changes he made in his style.
