Doreen and I helped with the 'Visioning Event' at the church I attend now and getting more involved with. Doreen and I created this Mission Impossible skit to get the group brainstorming. It was fun! We are great together and she is beautiful and full of life and energy and strenth.

Doreen and I continue to have good talks, even on Sat night she called me at 1030pm and we talked til 2am... I talked about being open, in our hearts and going in having good intentions and starting from there. I believe we had an epiphany that night REALLY coming to terms with our fears and our joys. I joked about how God is tired of being the liason between the two of us and decided we need to talk more TO each other and from God directly to us. She remarked that I was getting tired and talking silly.

That next morning at mass.....the homily was about being open and like a pine cone, letting that intense fire from a forest fire, cause the cone to burst to seed and create growth....and how our hearts need to do the same thing, allow our hearts to be open and burst with love.

If I was in a chair, I would have fallen off it.

Sitting next to Doreen, I FINALLY had a grace filled moment.

THANK GOD for hearing me and bringing her into my life. After the Visioning Event, we spent the rest of the day and on into the night together.

Although I still need to give her time and trust her so she can fully accept what is happening between us, I am FLOATING on air.

Jeff, that's great that you've found someone special. Although we can all talk about nearly anything, there is no replacement for having a deep heartfelt talk with an intimate partner. Really connecting with someone is so meaningful. Life doesn't get much better than that.

Best of luck to you both! Enjoy this wonderful time when you truly discover eachother. Don't rush it, savour it.
