[she jerked back as they made contact, yet it was not quickly enough, her side foaming crimson fluid . both had fought hard to this point, neither giving in, and she wasn't about to start it . but both had been injured, this was certain . she spun away from him, kicking out as she did so, attacking blindly but guessing, from the way he was moving and the way she had turned, that she would be attacking his chest and shoulders . she, as always, gave herself a large target to aim for . it was harder to miss that way . when she again faced him, her ivory canvas streaked with blood and her eyes bright with anger, she lunged forward once more, attacking with hooves and teeth aimed at his crest and poll, looking to rip and tear and do what she must to win this battle for her home]
