HEAVEN'S ROADS

Interweaving paths of light that mingle, merge, and blend,
Roads the soul does travel on they seem to have no end,
Turn right upon the golden road to see what you can see,
Find a heart that's crying out to finally be set free.

Reach down within the hazy mist and touch a tender cheek,
Offer up a love divine to those who feel frail and weak,
Take a teardrop from an eye then cast it in the air,
It's course will travel with the wind without a single care.

Continue walking if you deem this is what you should do,
Turn left at the crossroads, see what comes in view,
Another child lonely with no one to give him love,
A gentle kiss upon his brow from heaven up above.

A silent whisper in an ear that someone truly knows,
The pain within a wounded heart that rarely ever shows,
A simple moment set in time can mean so very much,
An act of kindness, tender smile, sometimes a caring touch.

Silently, now slip away, don't let love be returned,
Don't announce it to the world, for something to be earned,
Step lightly on the golden road and feel your spirit fly,
Watch the miracles appear before your very eyes.

Take a moment, close your eyes, and travel past the stars,
Judge not the images you see, ignore the ravaged scars,
Reach within the sacred place deep within a soul,
Lay hands upon those mortal wounds, make a half a whole.

These intersecting passageways composed of liquid light,
Shining in their glory, forms a transit in the night,
The highways sent from heaven, golden routes to take,
When traveled on within our minds, they never will forsake.
