- A slim girl wanders towards the Birch Glade -- Narah, 19:20:52 07/03/02 Wed
Silent footsteps are heard -or not heard- as a slim, and rather short girl makes her way through the forest. Many thoughts swirl around in her head, like an all consuming flood. The plenyt that were sure to be there, whether the Rian would like her gift, whether she would bond. The occasional branch slaps her on the arm or face as she steadily makes her way forward.
Upon reaching the glade, she pauses just outside to collect her thoughts, and to gaze peacefully at the large trees. Then she steps through the natural wall, and almost gasps allowed at the plenyt -and how many people there were, did she even stand a chance?- and her gaze travels appreciatively over them all, before coming to rest on the Rian and her bonded. If the plenyt were wonderful, their mother was more so, as she watched over her litter. Yes, this would truly be a marvelous experience, even if the Fach or Bach for her was not in this litter.
Gathering her courage about her like a cloak, the girl steps towards the Rian, her face wreathed in smiles. Bowin g deeply she begins to speak. "Dear Rian, it is a pleasure to have made it in time to see your magnificent -which they truly are- plenyt. If I may say so myself, you must be proud of them. Of course, myself never having been a mother I could not say, nor could I have known what to bring you as a token of appreciatin, never having seen Wytti before my arrival in this Glen. So I opted for the homemade, and spent several days making these. I hope you like them." Her voice, soft and musical, has a hint of shyness to it. Narah knew not what to think, and was usually shy around those she didn't know, so the speech was quite an effort on her part. Stepping closer she places by Jallya and Cariad two things. For Jallya there is a brilliant scarlet shawl, carefully embroidered in complicated patterns of gold. And for Cariad is a gold bracelet, twisted to form an equally lovely pattern, with a ruby set in the front.
Looking at the gifts with pride that comes from hard work and anticipation, she smiles. Those were her finest works, and she was pleased to give them to Jallya and Cariad. Her thoughs rove back towards the plenyt, like a bee drawn to honey. Each was so perfect, so unique and wonderful. As the thin watches them all a wistful sigh escapes her lips. To be bonded, to know the thoughts of another and to be united with the other half of your soul: that, that was heaven on earth.

- ... -- Jallya::Cariad, Plenyt, 19:19:45 07/03/02 Wed
The hum fills the Glade, at savage buzzing filled with the desperation to be open, to be free...To become entire. Jallya senses it before the rest, and stands up, gesturing towards the perimeter of the clearing. "Please form a ring so they can reach you easily..." She nods abruptly in approval as they follow her direction, and steps back behind the sanguine form of her Bonded.
The first to step forward is the green and silver female, and she curvettes sweetly as she stands in front of Reul. Her is a voice a smug thrumming purr, as she informs her chosen of her name. - Reul, I am Gwenyg. We're Bonded now, cheer up? - She nuzzles Reul and looks anxiously at the Dwi, her youthful face filled with worry that the girl would refuse her or...
The purple Fach and the striped Bach move forward simultaneously, the male heads for Vanya, blinking owlishly at her. This one is a scholar, but also a teacher, though he could disappear forever inside arcane texts, and obscure ways to fight ChaosHopefully, this Dwi he has chosen will prevent that from happening. - I am Athro, Vanya. We have Bonded now, I am to be the next teacher. Of course, I shall have help from my she-who-was my sister; I can speak to all Dwi, a useful talent, no? - His tendency to ramble is sharply accented in this small speech, though the unconstrained adoration in his eyes makes up for it. His purple littermate stands before Rdia, the eccentricities of her personality shown clearly in her eyes, this femme has a need to teach, not lecture, not order, but teach- Rdia, I am Athrawes. I too am to be a teacher, and you with me. I can speak with all Dwi. Of course, I can speak with all Wytti too, but that is not such a surprising talent, as every Wytti ever born can. - Her brimming eyes smile softly, and she nuzzles her new Bonded affectionately, twining her way through the girls legs.
The black and white trots towards Sard, a smug set to his stance. - Im Mwyn, Sard, youve Bonded to me. - He ducks his head, stretching his short neck as he lowers his head to his chest. - Want food? Im a little hungry -
The third born had somehow maneuvered so that he remained by Damien, allowing the Dwi full view of his splendorous coloring. - I am Rhi, Damien. Luckily for you, Ive chosen you as my Bonded. You should be feeling the waves of gratitude anytime now - he informs Damien arrogantly, his kingly attitude undiminished in the least from his time without a Bonded.
The green and white Bach practically leaps towards Corryl, snuggling his chosen enthusiastically, serving the double purpose of assuring her of his affection even as he protectively safeguards her from any who would approach unwelcomed. - I am Marchog, Corryl! - he informs her joyously.
The second Fach pauses, carefully considering the possibilities left to her. Reaching a decision, she steps towards Daina, using the lush feeling of her fur under the girls hands to alert her of her of the Fachs presence. - Daina, I am Ynys! - Nuzzles punctuate her sentence, and her stance is halfway between protective and worshipful, as she waits to know that she has been accepted.
Having decided upon her choice during the long deliberation her littermate took. She bounds towards Kaurea with a small chuckle, entwining herself amongst the Dwi girls legs. - Kaurea Aimithe? I am Rhufeinig, youre Bonded. -
Like a hunting lion, the gold and red Fach heads towards Cinead, giving this newly Bonded Dwi a slightly feral grin. - Greetings, Cinead! I am Llewbryd, weve Bonded you know. - The affectionate tone and vaguely youthful air that remains with him show Llewbryd to have a jesting side, lacking in most Plenyt during the gravity of this moment.
As soon as her littermate reaches Cinead, the black and silver walks leisurely towards Rivka, and sits before her with a shy look. Her fur is beautiful in this light, and the humming seems to affect it more than others, as it shimmers and shifts erratically. - I am Breintal, Rivka, youre Bonded! - Loving confidence and feline adoration fill Breintals looks at the girl.
Left alone, with only the future Rian for company, the all white Bach skips off towards Niira, curveting and prancing around her in a dizzying circle. His thoughts however, contain none of that dizziness, and he calmly informs her, - Mnames Ceinder, Niira. Did you know Im a Mage? And you are too, now anyway - He bats his lashes and tells her. - We can change the world -
The Rians choice is made clear to her, as she steps majestically towards Radames, tilting her gold and purple head as if she is a queen granting a boon to a particularly loyal subject. - I dont suppose I need to tell you why Im here? Well, in case youre being particularly dense, Ive Bonded to you, and my name is Siwgr, Radames. Lucky you! -
The humming ceases abruptly, and Jallya stands up. Well, as those of you who were here before know, theres a feast in the Goldbirch Clearings, and you can go to your Hauptons to sleep, or come hereInstruction might not be for a while, but you can probably join the current class, you shouldnt have missed much. My congratulations. She takes a deep breath. For those of you who were less fortunate this time, my condolences better luck next time. She gifts them with a sympathetic smile, before exiting with Cariad.

- :.:The Young Teen Dwi Walks In:.: ((repost...kinda messed the last one up)) -- Soalahi, 22:00:47 07/02/02 Tue
:.:The new femme Dwi walked slowly in. Her thoughts were of the Plenyt that dwelled here at this time. Not knowing quite where she was going, she wandered around the glen, looking up at the magnificent trees that grew here. On her back was a small pouch with a gift inside for the Rian.
Eventually she came across the glade in which the family of Wytti had resided. A smile adorned her pleasent facial features as she came as close as she dared to the Rian and the Plenyt. She bows deeply and then kneels on the ground. Carefully, she removes her pouch from her back and lays out before the Rian a beautiful silver necklace.
The necklace had been her grandmother's, passed down throughout her family. It was very shiney, although it was quite old. Adorning the many looped designs on the necklace are small sapphire and ruby gems. She smiles at the Rian and speaks with a pleasent voice:.:
I bring you many greetings. I am called Soalahi, meaning "One Star." Your Plenyt are the most beautiful and elegant creatures I have ever seen. I offer you this hand-crafted necklace, that once belonged to my grandmother, as a gift to honor them. It is my most prized possecion and I wish for you to have it.
:.:Her kind smile widens with pride of the necklace. She had loved it, but now it was time to give it's beauty to someone else.:.:
I know that my gift does not seem like anything very valuable to you, but it is are all I have. Please accept this and cherrish it as if it were as wonderful to you as much as it was to me.
:.:A soft smile crossed her lips as she watched the Plenyts. They truly were beautiful. She picked up her staff she had been carrying with her. A few feathers adorned the top of it and it was what she had carved herself. The Plenyt looked so graceful and strong. She yearned to touch one, but held her hands back, for she did not want the Rian to distrust her.
Memories of stories from her childhood flooded back to her. How many times had she heard her mother and grandmother tell her tails of these wonderous creatures. Now, she was right next to them. Many years of stories and memories were all she had left of her family. The necklace did not matter to her as much as these.
Peering at their noble faces, a glimmer of hope gathered within her. Longing for a companion in her lonely life. One reason why she was always helping others was because she had no one else. Sure she had friends, but sometimes friends weren't enough. A sigh of contentment and lonliness escaped from her lips as she looked at the gorgious Plenyt that were before her.:.:
I will be honest to you, for you are wiser than all the creatures here. I have never in my life seen more beautuful creatures and whoever is to be Bonded to these wonderful Plenyt will be bestoyed an admirable responsibility and honor. It is one of my few hopes that to one day, be bonded with a Plenyt. Although I have many friends, I have no family at all. A companion who could understand me would be an increddible miracle in my humble life. I understand that there are others more worthy than I of having this privilage, but I will leave that for you to decide.
:.:She gave another low bow and continued to withhold her posistion, awaiting some sort of reasponse or reaction. A pleasing and soft smile still gracing her lips. Patiently she would wait, for she did enjoy the very presence of these marvolous creatures.:.:
((A few words in OOC: I'm so sorry about that one post below...please ignore that. I did read the post with the Wytti, but my comp. shut down and I guess I forgot about it...I'm not making a very good first impression, am I? Oh well..I'm still sorry...:( ))

- Enters -- Niku, 15:35:27 07/02/02 Tue
Niku walks in the forest of Birch trees sorrounding the glade that held the Rian, her mate, the plenyt and their bonded. She stops herself, forcing the cool air in and out of her lungs in deep gulps. Niku had been thorugh this before and had not succeeded. You will try harded thsi time and you are more prepared than before. She ajusts her pack slung across her sholder holding the presents that she had slaved over. Niku continues on, drawing strenghth from the trees as she passes, getting closer to the clearing and her fate.
She enters the sunny clearing, the rays bouncing off her silver hair with purple highlights and reflecting it. She smiles at the sight of the plenyt and the parents her eyes sparkling with nervousness. A family, something I never experenced. She sighs and walks up standing boldly in front of the Rian. She takes off her pack and digs through it, getting out beautifully carved boxes. Theye were rich brown mahogony, a rare and expensive wood from her hometown. They were exquizidly carved with figures of wytti and other creatures on the edges and in the middle of one a flower, in such excruciating detail you could tell it took a long time. The petals were in the perfect pose of a bloom just opened and the flower itself was indeed rare. In the other was a tree, again in great detail. The tree was carved in perpetual bloom with each leaf carved with great care.
Niku steps up to the parents and bows in respect. She holds out the box with the flower to the Rian, her hands shaking slightly. "For you. Last bonding you got jewelry and I thought that these boxes would be just the place to put it." She smiles and hands out the other box for the mate. " the same goes for you sir. I carved them myself." Steping back she looks at both of them and says "Might I add htat you offspring is absolutely wonderful in everyway" She smiles genunely and turns to their bonded. "How lucky you are to be bonded to tese two. I hope that mine goes as well." She flashes another smiles and bows again as she turns to look at the plenyt feeling greatly relieved it went so well, or at least she thought so. Niku forces herself to think that she was good enough for one of the plenyt as she walks a little closer, trying to get a better look. She watches them with great longing and stands waiting for one to approach, fiddling with her hair, feeling both mervousness and excitement coursing through her body...

- Entrada -- Corryl, 20:01:44 07/01/02 Mon
In a haupton that is practically on the opposite side of the Glen, Corryl rushes back and forth, trying to get everything ready, her hair, her outfit, her gifts, her mindBut to her utter disgust, nothing seems to be going right! She tosses her head and stares at her silky hair, glaring at it as if, by sheer mental willpower, she can force it to look the way she wants it toYet the ebony strands stubbornly refuse to do what she demands of them, lying limply against her back, not moving an inch. YEARGGG!!!! Her shout echoes out into the haupton, and she finally just grabs a hair tie, pulling her ebony hair into its usual loose ponytail, cursing every single minor god, goddess, and demi-god she can think of (which is a lot) about stupid hair that wont lie flat, and dangit, where did that present go, and why wont this stupid hole in her favorite outfit mend itself, and so on and so forth, grumbling loudly as she tries her absolute best to get everything ready and up to her exacting standards. She sighs, and then shakes her head as she looks over her preparations, and wishes they could have been much better, while in fact everything is exactly as she intended it to beIt is just her nitpickiness that makes everything seem like it is going wrong, and her own personality that says, If this doesnt work, the world is going to come crashing down around my ears, and I will have failed, for I did not work hard enough. This trait has become the aggravation of many, this blaming herself if everything doesnt go perfectlyShe chuckles softly, and then gathers up her gift, tempted to make her usual drop to the ground, but deciding to forego it in favor of the ladder, because of the gift which she holds in her hands.
She jogs towards the Glade, her heart sinking to about the area of her boots as she notices many people there already, and many truly lovely giftsBut she steels herself, and goes onward, knowing that her gift is not one that a person would see everyday. She mulls over her choice of gift as she approaches the Glade, wondering what had mad her choose itIt was not food, as she knew that the mother, Cariad, right? Yes, that sounds rightShe chuckles to herself. ~I had better remember the name! For now shes the only adult Rian!~ Then she continues on her train of thought. Cariad had probably already been gifted with plenty of food, so that would be obsolete. Her gift didnt have very many practical purposes, that was for sure, at least none that a normal person would think of. But in beautyShe grins, her teeth flashing whitely in the shadows of the trees, very proud of the intricacy and beauty she had worked hard at to integrate into the gift. For the present that she would be presenting to the Rian and her Bonded is a set of gorgeous wind chimes, the notes as pure as is possible to be, the metal thin and unblemished except for the delicate carvings of Wytti all along it, some in flight, some on the ground, some male, some female, some adults, some still Plenyts like the ones in this Glade. There are twelve chimes, each of them balanced perfectly on one note, based on a G scale. The music of wind chimes, she has discovered, is one of the most soothing things you can listen to while meditating, and several of the like adorn her haupton, but most of them are in an E minor scale, her personal favorite.
She smiles, and then enters the Glade, sweeping a low bow to the lovely Rian and her Bonded, her heart clenching as she notices how many others there are already, and wonders if her effort will be in vainHer attempt to get here in time so that at least one of the Plenyts will notice her, and may choose to Bond with herShe closes her eyes tightly. No. She will not give into depressed thoughts of that sort. She tosses off a wide grin to the Rian, along with another bow, and then offers the wind chimes, still wrapped in their protective covering of tissue paper, to the Rians Bonded. I wasnt sure what to bring, so I sorta guessed at itI hope that this gift is welcome, for Id hate it if I werentI worked pretty hard on it, and Im really hopeful She offers up yet another grin. I wasnt here when you had your first litter, but I do not doubt that they were every bit as lovely as the younglings I see hereTheyre absolutely wonderful! I am extremely pleased to be here for an opportunity to get to know them, and it would be the highest honor to Bond with one of them, should I ever be so lucky She smiles hopefully, and then waits for her judgment to be pronounced by either the Rian or her Bonded, very hopeful

- Try try again! -- Kally, 13:39:53 06/30/02 Sun
The girl tumbles her way back into the glade. Her long autumn colored piggi-braids bounce behind her. "The last time I brought flowers. This time I brought food." She smilesup at the red Rian. "The pleynt are lovely in this batch too. And there are more of them. That can be good or it can be bad." she winks at the rian.
" I'll try again with the braids, but the wiser ones don't seem to be playful.. just very observent." She says as she fiddles with a sack that had been tied to her belt. She unattaches it and opens the sack. Inside are three large turkeys."I know that it takes alot out of you to produce a litter and this one must have been ecspecially tough. I do hope you regain your health and energy soon.
She settles herself down in the spot she had just left before. Time surely flies when you are banging your head into a table.

- Entrada -- Sard/Reul, 00:12:22 06/30/02 Sun
The undergrowth near the Glade rustles softly, and then a tall Dwi steps out of it, his pale blue and lavender hair seeming odd against his darkly tanned skin, his silver eyes watching his companion worriedly. Since they had arrived here, Reul had not said a single word Not like she talked a lot in the first place. Her ebony eyes had seemed distant, unfocused, and the small, slender Dwi had often looked like she was not truly there He sighs, and shakes his head lightly, dismissing the thoughts, but he cant keep from worrying over his beloved little sister She is so small! Even for a thirteen-year-old, he knows that she will most likely never grow above the height she is at now, but hopefully she will fill out more. He gently holds her delicate hand in his own, feeling like a blundering bear holding a doll hand in its powerful paw. He sighs, and guides her gently along towards the Glade once again, watching out for both his own footing and hers. As they enter, Sard lets go of her hand, and bows to the Wytti there, his form respectful, while Reul just sorta stands there and stares off into nowhere. He sighs, watching her, a slight frown creasing his eyebrows, and then forces a soft smile to the others, and then opens his hands, the gifts to the Wytti and her Bonded resting in his hands.
A glittering charm rests in one hand, obviously meant to be worn as an earring. The crystal is finely cut and faceted, the workmanship exquisite. And on the other hand Is a larger version of the same thing, but obviously meant for a Wytti. Sard half holds his breath, hoping that the gifts will be accepted by the two. Meanwhile, Reuls faint attention has been attracted by the Plenyts, and she blinks once, her ebony eyes clearing partially of their glaze, and fixing upon the young ones. She tilts her head to the side, and then crouches down, extending her hand to them, making a clicking sound with her tongue... There is something about the Plenyts which attracts her attention, her deep red hair flowing around her emancipated form as she waits to see if any of them will deign to notice her

- Second Try -- Vanya, 13:42:54 06/29/02 Sat
Vanya wanders by the Glade, playing cheerfully with Mira, her eyes bright with glee. The Lazut is currently playing catch the braid and is having a bit of a problem with it, because her coordination is still not the best there has ever been. Vanya giggles, and tosses her head, sending the braid off in another direction for the silver-blue Lazut pup, and then freezes as the cries of the new Plenyt penetrate her mind, flinging her back to her first attempt at trying to Bond. Her head turns slowly to watch all twelve of the Plenyt, and she slowly stands, then looks around, trying to find something that would be suitable as a gift. She turns to look desperately at Mira, her eyes wide. What can I give them that would be suitable as a gift? Last time I brought claw sheathes, but I dont have any in a finished state yet She finishes up almost on a wail, her eyes wide. Mira chirrups reassuringly at her, and looks around herself. Vanya suddenly starts in surprise as Kesa settles on her shoulder. The Jrehke chirps reassuringly, and then Vanya looks up as her other two Jrehke settle in the tree across from her, the siblings still nameless for now. The three glance at each other, and then all three of them carefully pluck a couple of the feathers that they do not need, offering them to their Dwi. Mira purrs comfortingly, and then lifts her head, scenting the air, and then takes off into the underbrush, her hindquarters moving her along quickly. There is a crash, and then the Lazut comes trotting back, laying a young rabbit at her Dwis feet as well. Vanya blinks in startlement, her silver-ringed eyes wide, and then smiles, gathering the feathers, and adding a few flowers to them, taking the ribbon holding her hair in the braid out, and using it to tie them all together. Then she looks around for some of the larger leaves, knowing that there were a few kinds that would make a great carrysack for the rabbit, and could also be dressed up with a few more flowers.
A few minutes later Vanya is armed with her gifts, and she pauses before entering to look them over. The Jrehke feathers, dark purple, dark blue, black, red, silver, and light blue, along with several flowers of the same colors, and a pair of Kairoa feathers (from her winged Kairoa, Jesse, who had joined them, along with the two wingless Kairoa, who were keeping a good distance from Mira) tied with a silver ribbon. There were also a few rabbit carcasses, the first one accompanied by two others, one of the kills made by the Kairoa, the other by Vanya herself, all three wrapped up in large leaves and tied by vines which had fallen to the ground (thus making them far easier to reach, and much nicer to the habitat). They were adorned with a few more flowers, which Vanya had cheerfully collected, being careful to take only the flowers which had extra blossoms to that the insects that ate the pollen would not be deprived if need be. She smiles softly, and then shoos most of her pets back to the Haupton, the only one staying being Mira, who wouldnt have left her anyway, and Kesa, who didnt feel like leaving. The three Kairoa and the two adolescent Jrehke leave willingly, perfectly happy to be off adventuring again. Vanya starts towards the entrance to the Glade once again, and then hesitates, crouching down by Mira and rubbing the Lazut behind her ears, gaining comfort from the familiar purr that the silver-blue pup gives off. Then she stands and tucks the feather/flower bouquet into her belt, making sure that none of the flower stems snap, and then shoulders two of the kills, with Mira taking the third, and walks into the Glade.
Her silver hair flows about her in a glittering waterfall, the hair tie having been sacrificed to holding the feather/flower concoction together, the long strands surrounding her in a silver halo, the pale color a sharp contrast against her ebony skin. Silver-ringed purple eyes scan the clearing, watching all of the Plenyts hopefully, hoping desperately that one of them will choose her this time around. She watches none of them in particular, knowing that she will (hopefully) be able to play with at least one of them before it is time for the youngsters to Bond, but her eye is caught (of course) by the glittering future Rian Then Vanya pulls her gaze away, turning back to the elder Dwi and her Bond. She places the two kills on the ground before the Rian, Mira dropping the third beside them, and then she executes a neat bow before the two, flashing them a cheerful grin, her eyes glittering. Well, Im back, and like last time, I bring gifts! Although these arent quite as fancy as last time, I didnt take quite as much time preparingWell, on to what I brought you! Ive got three rabbit kills for you, kind Rian, because Im betting that youre hungry And the other gift Ive got is pretty frivolous, but I think its pretty She reaches into her belt, and withdraws the bouquet of feathers, the multicolored feathers gleaming brightly in the sunlight. She smiles hopefully and bows once again, offering the feathers to the elder Dwi, a shy smile on her face. Then she stands straight, suddenly feeling very awkward, and very hopeful, her mind gibbering and hoping that she hasnt messed up somewhere along the line, and that maybe, possibly, that there just might be a chance that shell Bond this time
Mira rubs up against the backs of her legs, reminding the Dwi that the Lazut is still there and offering support, and Vanya crouches down again, stroking the small silver-blue female for comfort, allowing herself to revel in the purr for a few seconds, just relaxing Then she stands upwards again, and then looks around, fiddling absently with her hair not used to having it loose. She walks towards some of the Plenyt, and grins at them, offering her hand to them. Hello! My name is Vanya, and this is Mira. She indicates the Lazut, who gives them an odd chirpy sound. A squawk from the trees makes her hurry to add the Jrehke to the introduction. And that demanding one is Kesa. Miras a Lazut, and Kesa is a Jrehke She trails off, running out of things to say, and hopes that at least one of them will play with herHer hand reaches into one of her pouches, withdrawing the ball that she and her twin and the two Back had played with last time, and she absently tosses it up and down, not really paying attention to what shes doing.

- -Curiousity- -- Rivka, 09:42:58 06/29/02 Sat
The young female, around the age of eighteen, slowly ambled through the glen, glancing around and every sight and listening to every sound. Her steps through the glade were soft, as she didn't like making loud sounds, for listening to everything around her was much more lovely than listening to herself stomp through the glen. A thought about bringing her ocarina out to play a soft melody along with the creatures crossed her mind, but she quickly put it out, afraid it might frighten the creatures around her. Sensitive lobes picked up something in the glen...A litter of Plenyt! She had heard that there was a new litter, so that's why she had decided to come here. Oh how she wanted to see them, even if she didn't get bonded.
Slowly, she made her way over to where the Plenyt play. Kneelin, the over curious Rivka watched from a distance. She made sure to stay out of sight. She knew how much Cariad must have gone through to have this litter of twelve. How adorable and content they seemed just playing there. What wonderful creatures, how she longer to get closer to them and play with them, but didn't. As she contiued to remain where she was, watching them, her silver oculars, ringed with darker siver began to grow wider. Her curiousity overpowered her as she slowly made her way towards the litter. Sitting upon a log a few feet away from the litter, she spoke softly. Her voice was serene and calm, as not to frighten the Plenyt.
Why, hello Cariad. It is such a pleasure to see such an extraordinary litter for my first ever litter. You surely have had a strenuous time giving birth to these twelve amazing plenyt, six fachs and six bachs!
Her feature lit up as she spoke about the Plenyt. Being so overjoyed to see them and Cariad, she almost forgot something. She had brought a gift for Cariad, and something special for all of them. She did not care if they would enjoy it or not, but it was all she had to give them. She spoke again, just as soft and serene as before.
I have brought you something, Cariad.
She reaches into her side sachel, pulling out something. What she was holding was a good sized piece of meat, though that could not be identified. The meat was wrapped in a brown paper-like material, so it would nt spoil. She carefully unwrapped the meant and set it in front of Cariad, getting as close as she dared.
That it for you Cariad, and your 'Mate, if he shall want some, or if you shall want to give him some. I have also brought you all something, something that I treasure. Maybe you may not find it as wonderful as I, but I bring it to you anyways. I bring you the gift of song.
Again, she went back into her sachel, digging through it. After a few moments, she brought out a lovely little clay ocarina. She puts the ocarina to lips and begins playing. She played a charming melody. Soft, serene and lagato was the melodic tune she played. Her features showed much emotion as she played, even though her eyes were closed. She played each notes as if it would be her last that she would played. Ending the song softly, she brough the ocarina away from her lips and smiled, a genuine smile of content.
I feel honored that I have gotten to play for you and your stunning litter, Cariad.
She said with a bow.
Even if I do not get bonded this time around, I will enjoy what I have been able to do for you. It brings me great pleasure that I have gotten to play for you.
She smiles as she capture the image of Cariad and the litter. The litter was so wonderful, it was just an honor to be here and see it. This was her first litter and she would remember it forever. She made sure she captured it in her mind and heart, to see always. She continued sitting there, watching the Plenyt, seeming mesmerized. All the while, a smile alighted her visage as she sat there humbly watching the litter and Cariad.

- An observer -- Chloe, 22:48:19 06/28/02 Fri
(Relax, everyone, this little girl is only ten, no serious threat to bonding types. Please do not eat her. ~_^)
Locking the door to the Haupton, Chloe's curiousity begins to eat away at her again. She instructs Nuadan to guard before taking the ladder down and thumping lightly to the ground. Glancing around her, she begins her journey towards the Birch Glen, her mind filled with possibilities. Having only seen a few grown Wytti so far, she wonders vaguely what the young will look like, her mind dancing back to what Terrun had called "a big green lump". Grinning at the image, she keeps moving, her indecision deciding to take a holiday. Her time as a breeder, an authority and a social interacter, has left her with a larger sense of confidence than ever she had felt. Her arms swing with her walking as the young girl approaches the clearing.
She halts when she sees Cariad, as deep a red as Llyn was a green, and she grins. The Plenyt scampering around her looked like miniature copies of the grown Wytti, but each retained a distinctive and charming mind of its own. Like her Lazutr, but these Plenyt would grow far bigger than any Lazut. Approaching closer, Chloe smiles at the others playing with the Plenyt and then at Cariad's Bonded, Jallya.
"Hi, my name is Chloe. A D-d-dwi called Terrun and his Bonded Llynmynydd came to my Haupton, where I breed Lazutr. He got a c-c-cub, and he mentioned that there was a litter present. Now, I know I'm v-v-very young, younger than any here, but I thought I'd come and get my feet wet, so to speak. I just wanted to s-s-see what the Plenyt were like, and maybe play with them. And watch the Bonding, of course. A g-g-good experience. I don't r-r-really expect much, and I don't honestly want to take away from those whose d-d-dream it is to Bond. It is my dream, too, so I want to g-g-get a feel for it. I brought something anyway to be a g-g-good guest, a toy my Lazutr cubs enjoy heartily. It would b-b-be rude of me to come empty handed, I was always taught." She sets down a large, heavy ball that makes a tempting, inviting jingly noise when moved, the outside of the ball scented with rabbit fur. "A-a-and for the Mothers, I have brought these."
Pulling from her waist pouch two bracelets, one large enough to ring a Wytti forepaw comfortably, and one slender for a Dwi wrist, she smiles. "They are made with sturdy leather, and decorated with marble beads. One for each of y-y-you. They won't rot, because they have a thin thread in them, and they b-b-belonged to my uncle. That one," she indicates the larger one, "w-w-went around a Lazut's neck, b-b-but it could fit nicely around your paw. I am here to watch and learn from this bonding, I h-h-hope you will allow me."

- .x. Nerves vs. Dreams .x. -- Kaurea Ai'mithe, 15:31:46 06/28/02 Fri
She sat cross legged, thoughts conflicted throughout her mind, negative ones telling her to leave, what was the point in coming here to face rejection that would surely come, and positive ones, pushing her hopes up, telling her, why not she? why should she not bond and be merry?. because you're not worth it that snide nasty voice slid into her mind, oily with a bad aftertaste, Her mother had named her Kaurea, because of her timid and shy nature, Kaurea Ai'mithe, Timid Mouse she thought, and how right she was, Kaurea thought bitterly, here was she hiding away in the Ash trees while others stepped forward to congratulate the Parents and their bonded. Lower lip trembled slightly, dark azure eyes with dark violet spirals looked on at the other Dwi and the Plenyt and those same, doubt filled eyes became shining beacons of hope, why shouldn'tI bond? I have as much chance as any of the others.
Kaurea rises, brushing off dirt , dry leaves and twigs that seemed to catch onto her shabby trousers, some leaves refused to budge no matter what she did, the Dwi female, was wearing a white long sleeved top, it had an open collar and blue birds had been embroidered around the neck, Her hair was a vibrant red, Pulled out of her face and tied into a long pony tail that hunt to around her waist, it was glossy and shone like it was on fire, the edges were tipped in white, not a technique but a natural occurrence, her eyes, a deep azure with a swirling pattern of dark violet were big and wide, framed with large black eyelashes fine eyebrows arched, and a full mouth that quivered with excitement, here was she, the Timid Mouse taking her first bold step, making her way down to the Glade she paused at the edges, looking down praying her appearance was not to scruffy or shabby for the Plenyt and the Wytti. She licked lips that had suddenly gone dry, butterflies danced in her belly and a lump stuck in her throat, her entire body seemed to quiver with hope and excitement, as she approached the Plenyt, there so big was her first reaction and then the beauty of them hit her full force, the colour, the way the light reflected those colours, the blues, the greens the bronzes. At least if she did not bond she would hold in her heart and mind this memory of the Plenyt playing.
And now she approached the Wytti, her eyes full of worry now, what if she was to complimentary? what is she annoyed or even dreading it...angered this magnificent creature? She took a step back as if to turn and flee but then something inside of her took hold telling her, compelling her to stay, for if she did not, the feeling of what might have been - what could have been might haunt her for eternity. And so she opened her mind and spoke aloud, her stomach turning flips at what reaction they might cause, what if she caused offence by a well-ment remark? Pushing her fears aside she spoke
"May I congratulate you, Madame and Sir on you're litter, the Plenyt are amazing and beautiful to watch"
She winced at the nerves that shook her voice and hoped she didn't sound quite as nervous as she thought its sounded like, now she turned to the bonded
"Truly, I could only hope to bond such magnificent Wytti as you have too, I only wish that perhaps one of the Plenyt from their litters will find me a suitable companion.
With a slight curtsy, Kaurea cursed herself mentally for not knowing quite how to act, She backs away, inspiration hits her, from the deer-hide bag that she carries over her shoulder, she opens it and takes out another deer-hide item, a round inflated ball, She crouches tossing the ball up and down lightly with one hand, her brother had treated the hide with a certain liquid so that the Ailosacathi he kept would not burst the toy with their sharp claws, she only hoped it would stand up to the Plenyt teeth and claws, that was if any wondered over her way to play, still trying to crush that doubt and fear, Kaurea waited patiently. That at least she thought bemused is one thing I am good at, waiting.

- Venture -- Radames, 22:13:00 06/27/02 Thu
A tall, light haired young man wanders through the forest, soaking in the resplendent sun and enjoying the solitude of the woods. He pulls from his belt a small, finely shaped flute, made from the hollow leg of a bird. He brushes his fingers along the surface of it, testing for any cracks or damage before putting it to his lips and beginning to play. The sounds float across the leaves and flicker up to greet the wind with easy familiarity, and Radames smiles and claps in his own joy of the moment. The forest, the trees, everything seemed to be humming with his newfound freedom.
Continuing on, he notices with some approval that the woodlands are fresh and secluded, a perfect spot for a soul such as himself to enjoy his time. But something....something seemed to trouble him, a tug at his heart towards darker thoughts and crevasses inside his mind, the drenching damp of lonely nights. It was one thing to have the freedom to be alone, it was quite another to have too much solitude altogether. These thoughts seem to cloud his good mood and his walk through the forest, but he keeps moving, trying to will the thoughts to drift by like the summer clouds. A hand unconciously goes to his cheek, tattooed with the permanent reminder of his link to the past, to shameful and menial tasks endured as a young child. The mark seems almost to sting and burn under his fingers, and he flinches for a moment, tracing the curves with paralyzed fascination, frozen in the woodlands.
Noises bring him out of his horribly still trance, sounds of rustling brush and voices. The young man's head snaps around to search for the tallest, sturdiest tree he can find, something instinctive now after long years of practice. If it was a party of sentinels out for his blood, they'd have to climb like wildcats to reach him. But upon edging slightly closer to the source of the noise, he finds the voices to be happy, and somewhat hesitant, but not harsh and grating. Maybe he could get a bit nearer to everything. With caution born of the escaped prisoner, he slinks forward ever so slowly, trying to imagine soft pads for feet. He wanted to see whatever was moving and talking, before it saw him. Flecks of color skid through the leaves, arresting his vision in their briefness. What could be so colorful as that? Certainly no rabbit... Edging ever closer, he bends on his knees to get a better view of the area in front of him. An audible gasp escapes him, and it is all he can do to stay upright.
There, before his eyes, is a creature born of dreams, nothing he had ever seen, surely, in all his nineteen years. A rich, effortless red, and a maternal tenderness that seeped through the Rian's body language as water seeped through a cloth. And playing beneath her watchful and somewhat tired gaze are twelve of the most intoxicatingly arresting youngsters his mind had ever conjured over. Strangely, in the presence of such magnificent creatures, Radames feels no fear, only an aching sense of something he can't put his finger on. Loneliness? Inferiority? Whatever the feeling, it inches him up from his crouch, pulling him irrevocably towards Cariad's line of vision.
Gulping and breathing deeply, he resolves to investigate fully, and get nearer to the wonderful creatures. He glimpses Jallya suddenly, the slight form of a Dwi beside these beings is a sharp and jolting contrast. His mind races to make sense of the situation, why would a large creature, even one that didn't inspire fear, let someone else near. As he thinks, his eyes track the movements of the other people in the glen, new arrivals and those presenting themselves to Cariad. What did it mean? And then, in a burst of sparks and smoke, the knowledge comes to him. The Wytti! She's the mother, and the young....you bond with them. The race that restores the Balance, side by side with the Dwi. And you've found a litter! With nothing like joy, Radames takes in the scene with his new spin of knowledge. He keeps moving forward, compelled and betrayed by feet that will not stop. Taking another deep breath, his slow progression lands him square in front of the maternal pair.
His mind dries for only an instant before he speaks a bit unevenly. "Hello. I am Radames, good mothers. May I...may I stay and watch your arrestingly amazing young ones?" He inquires, his voice smoothing and returning to its old fullness with every word. For a brief second, his hand flashes to his cheek to cover the scrawled emerald, but he disciplines it down to his side. As he becomes more adjusted to the strange and unexpectedly fortunate situation, he sees that the others had brought gifts, either for the youngsters, or for the Bonded mother. Thinking quickly, he brings his flute out again, the finest he had ever made. Perhaps it would be a good gift. Well, there was only one way to find out. He holds it out in front of him and explains. "And this is my gift to you, a flute hand carved from the hollow leg bone of a bird. It has been pained over, to insure that the sounds are the clearest and the brightest they can possibly be, and there are even some carving designs on it's top. Very delicate, it was a loyal companion to a desperate young boy once, but now it is time to pass it on. The least I can offer."
Smiling, he finds a strange sense of peace at relinquishing his home made instrument, for as he observes the Plenyt, the flute seems hilariously trivial. He was ready to give up everything, just for an afternoon with these creatures, with their presence and approval. The feeling shocked him, he had only thought so passionately about one other thing, which was his freedom, and now that he had that...
"Please, enjoy the gift." He says heartily, a soft, dreamy smile lighting his face.

- { here goes nothing... } -- Rdia, 15:43:14 06/27/02 Thu
From a despondant revire in a lonely vale, Rdia lopes through the woods. Thin twigs grab at the auburn hair rushing by, roots seek to trip feet that will not stop. I will not fail this time, I will not fail this time... she chants over and over again in her mind. On this two concoius' (sp?) were united. Nearing the glade, she slows. Fathomless pools, sapphire laced with silver, peer into the weald.
Word travels fast.. Straightening the leather shachel that hung at her side, she withdrew the gifts that she had been fashioning as everyone else had been arriving. Two necklaces hung with bead and glimmering stones, each with a glasp of ivory she had on her person, alibi one of her own. Two skinned squirrles, megar fare to be sure but all that could be gathered at that moment.
Straightning her shoulder and meantally preparing herself for the familiar sight, she steps towards the all important copse. It is at this point that the roots which had been endevoring to trip her on her mad dash to the glade relinquished their job to the stones, which accomplished the dirty trick much more thoroughly. Her hide encased feet caught on a rock, sending her sprawling in front of the Wytti, Plenyt and the Rain's Bonded.
Heat rises to her cheeks, thoroughly embarrassed and only just able to keep from crying.
'Nice to see you again, M'ladys, M'lord,' she says, quite forgetting that is all to informal. Pushing herself to the knees and from there to her feet, she offers the necklace and kill which she had rescued from the fall. With a helpless shade of a smile, she lets her eyes wander to this Plenyt. 12...oy She withdraws her rope, knotted plaything, and returns her eyes to the Rain, hoping she will accept the gifts, forgive her clumsiness or overlook it. Hiding a grimace, she waits.

- A second shot -- Niira, 09:45:29 06/27/02 Thu
Niira walks somewhat despondently through the clearing, her mind drifting from topic to topic like a wayward feather on the breeze. She strokes her new little friend, the blind Tryphon, getting him accustomed to her touch, her presence, and her noises. As her steps take her forward, she gazes upwards at the trees as they glide smoothly from ash to birch, and she touches the bark of one tree to assure herself of a newly formed suspicion. "Why did I come back here?" She asks Tryphon, holding him up to eye level. "They're all bonded now, so why did I come back?" But as she speaks, her hearing picks up Cinead's last few words, something about wishes to bond. "It can't be...another litter?"
Making her way through the foliage tenderly, so not to disrupt too much, she parts a way, and before her eyes the story unfolds. The large, and now somewhat familiar, form of Cariad immediately swims into focus, followed by the swift and playful flashes of color that affirm her suspicion. "I can't believe this." She murmurs to the little raven Alie in her arms, her mind racing to deliberate. "Maybe, maybe I should try again. But..." Her fingers pause behind the ears of the Alie, and he quests his nose up, an inquiry as to why her ministrations had stopped. "What if I don't?" She asks herself, and at this point Tryphon nips a finger, as if to flood back her sense of herself. "So what? So what if I don't? I guess I might as well get out of these plants, right?" She asks no one in particular, taking the final few steps out into plain view.
Smiling bravely at Cariad and Jallya, she takes one more step closer, before giving a slight bow and looking up to gaze on the newest litter. "Greetings, again." She says with some humor. "If you don't remember me, my name is Niira, and I have come again to see this second litter." Her eyes roam across the young, contained forms of boundless energy, and she grins. "And I didn't bring a gift, to my despair. But I brought a playmate." She holds out the little Alie, and Tryphon raises his wings experimentally, his white eyes scanning the clearing uselessly. "This is Tryphon, and he is not food, contrary to looks." Her remark travels more to the scuffling Plenyt, before she turns back to the mother of the litter.
"Your effort and strenuous work is very much appreciated, and with all do respect, you two look like you could use a nice long rest." She says, smiling. "Oh, wait...maybe I do have something." Rummaging around in her waist satchel, her fingers close on the freshly made vine garland. She pulls it forth, the leaves fluttering in the small breeze. "More for the mothers, than the young, though I'm told it makes for good chewing. Very fresh and minty, rejuevinating." She adds pointedly to Cariad, laying the vines down and standing a little back.

- ~hope~ -- Cinead~Daina, 22:35:54 06/26/02 Wed
A tall, exuberant man enters with a sullen young girl at his side. In his arms he carries a leather sack, and as he steps lightly into the glade he is stopped by a strong arm on his shoulder. "Cinead, where are we?" The man smiles fondly down at the girl beside him, obviously blind. "Well, dear sister, we are in the Birch Glade. I thought the Wytti fascinating, and wished to try my luck. And you don't want me to leave me alone, do you?" His voice is cheerful, and coaxing. However, the girl simply stumbles backwards, as if he had dealt her a blow. "You are trying to bond and you brought me?" The words are a hiss, and softly spoken. "What shall I do? You know none would choose me, I cannot see and am of no use. Must you bring me this pain?" The girl appears about to weep, and her sad expression deepens. Picking at her clothing she finishes woodenly "I suppose I must stay. I have no way of returning to our Haupton." Inside a mournful voice cries out. O brother dear, how could you? So close yet so far, far away. You know my lifelong wish will never be realised, you know I could not bond. It would be unfair to the plenyt, even if I did. O, brother mine. How I wish it were possible. Unheeding of his sisters yearning thoughts the 18 year old approaches Cariad. "Dear Wytti, we have come in hopes of bonding with one of your magnificent children. Realising, of course, how you must feel after a birth to so many fine ones we have brought a gift of meat for you." He approaches, bows his best, and places the meal within easy reach. With a sweeping gesture to his silent sister he adds "This is my sister. She is blind, but it has been her lifelong wish to bond. Not that she'd ever tell you. So, even if it is not possible for her to bond, as I know not the criterea, do you have to be a seer or something to bond blind?, she would appreciate just being allowed to stay and listen." With a resigned sigh, Daina gives a deep curtsy, hoping to be allowed to stay.

- ... -- Jallya:Cariad, 20:52:03 06/26/02 Wed
Gracefully, despite her gravid state, this litter promises to be bigger than the last, based upon the look of the red Rian. Keen Wytti ears pick up her Bondeds nervous pacing outside the glade, and the Rian revels in her brief minutes of privacy, shielded by the ring of birches from all not even squirrels would intrude at such a time. Cariad purrs raspily as contractions rack her velvet frame, and then the first is born, a beautiful female, her brass hued eyes look a little reproachful at her mothers insistent licks, and when Cariad finished, she smoothes the gold and purple fur, marked attractively with snow-white rosettes. She waits patiently for the next arrival, female like her. The second Plenyt is blue, with markings of green. The Fach somehow escapes her mothers well-meaning but restrictive grasp, looking coyly at her with one golden eye. Her elder sister is much annoyed by this. Almost immediately, the first Bach arrives. His coloring is dramatic red and gold, and he preens, unconsciously assisting his mothers attempts to clean his beautiful fur. Much to vain to join his sisters at their playing, he regally ascends to a convenient boulder, sitting primly as if it was made for him. The fourth is another male, marked as his eldest sister is, but not with rosettes, with stripes instead. He seams wise beyond his years, and his coloring, though bright, is comparatively unassuming, a brown and gold with orange stripes. His sister arrives, and her air is not so different, though she is a solid purple, joining her brother in his solemn appraisal of their siblings.
Considerably more playful, is the next three, the sixth is a green and white male, and the seventh continues the pattern with his black and white coloring. The eighth is a Fach, and once more green is predominant in her striking coloring of green and silver. Obviously intent on mischief, the trio scampers off, planning some prank on their siblings. The ninth is apparently the reversal of his eldest brother, his coloring is a rich gold and red, the gold is this time prevalent, and he is not as vain as the third born Plenyt, and first born Bach. After him, arrive two Fachs, both with silver accents, though the elder has a black base-coat, and the eleventh Plenyt a purple. As they are finished their bath, they fall victim to the mischievous trio of three, ending up buried under a bush. Cariads long suffering sigh seeming to say, All that for nothing, and indeed it seems so, as all five are now adorned with twigs and leaves, and the occasional bug is interrupted by the birth of her last, a pure white Bach, with silver-lavender eyes, ostensibly, he is more interested in sleeping than the rambunctious play of his siblings, though slits of silver-purple color can be seen, made more obvious by his startlingly white fur.
- Come in, theres twelve of them. - Cariad calls mentally to Jallya, the Rian gazing proudly at her second successful litter. The curious future-Rian slinks towards Jallya, her body twitching in kittenish anticipation, though for all her movements, she is silent, and the querying chirp of the eighth born is the only thing that alerts her to her would-be hunter. Disappointed at the distraction of her prey, the gold and purple heaves a great sigh, giving one great, reproachful glance at her green and silver sister, revenge clearly on her mind, she sprints towards the younger Fach, a devilish light in her eyes. Theyre lovely and energetic, Cariad. And Im sure Llynmynydd would say the same if he could be here. The red female nods, her purr growing into the sweet, heady one she reserved for those she was particularly fond of.

Elpis watched silently from his position in the circle as the bonding went, plenyt going out to their's one by one. He didn't quite know what the feeling that was fluttering though his stomach at that moment was. All he knew was that it grew stronger as the bonding went on, and the number of plenyt remaining grew smaller and smaller. He felt a bit of cold persperation break out across his forehead when there was only one left, but he couldn't seem to make his arm move up and wipe it away, he could only watch as the young Wytti started to move.
And when it moved out to Kendra, he felt the butterflies in his stomach vanish. Which would have made him feel better, had it not been for the huge weight that had dropped on his shoulders, making them droop ever so slightly. He didn't really hear Terrun as he gave his words of both praise and encouragement, and he didn't notice as almost everyong else left the glade, he simply dropped to the ground as his knee's gave under the invisible weight, and stared out into nothing. He stayed in that postition for a long time, until his eyes finally widened, then narrowed, a scowl framed his features.
Then he wordlessly got back to his feet, brushed some of the loose debris from his braid of hair, and left the glade.

They were all chosen. Gone that was it. The first though-misrable failure. Dark clouds of sorrow dim the hope, the preperation. Impenatrable facade masks the finely chisled face. A lump rises in her throat. She swallows it. Tears threaten to spill over. She blinks them back with practised grace, feigning something in her eyes. Cheerful grin is plastered on her lips as she inclines her head in congratulations to the Bonded. Azure hollows then turn to those like her, reading their expressions.
Second thought-Come my brothers and sisters in sorrow, lets us wallow in grief. Then, a more practical-Get a hold of yourself, Ri. There will be other Bondings...didn't Mothers say once that it took her five Plenyt before she found Tsarvana. You didn't know your mother. Well then Father said that Mother said it. Oh go away.
With a last forced smile and wave of congratulations, she exits the weald with as much dignity as she can muster. Back through the deanse weave around the small vale. She locates the stream, still bubbling with mirth. Cross, she throws a stone at it. Ri, your being stupid. Try meditating. You, suggest meditation? Yes. It will make you less unreasonable. If you say so...
Legs fold underneath her as she assumes that favored positon. Hands rest lightly on knees, palms up. Lids shut on silver flecked eyes, thick lashes caressing bronzed cheeck. Lines ease around her face, shedding years and not looking her onescore and four, but just a young thing of sixteen.
You are the ocean and the river and the stream and the brook.
I am the ocean and the river and the stream and the brook. I am the eagle in the sky and the wild horse upon the plain. The wingbeats and the hoofbeats and the heartbeats are one and I am one with earth and sky and sea. I am...

The Birch trees start to hum, not them really, its the majiick inherent in the Glen, which intensifies, reaching its crescendo as the Plenyt age and become accustomed to others enough that they may Bond. The hum is only just noticeable, and Cariad shifts a little, her motherly instincts for her Plenyt worrying the none will find their life mateShe shakes that uneasy feeling off, and Jallya recognizes her Bondeds apprehension, and calls to the hopefuls, Id suggest getting away from them and forming a ring around the glade. When they get ready to Bond, they can get edgy; youd be too with all the majiick and emotions humming throughout your veins. If they scratch you, its not intentional, and it wont hurt much unless it is intentional, or you try to push them down. She waits for the Dwi to form a circle, fidgeting slightly, the majiick in the Glen had a lot to do with this, but Cariad also did. The Rian closed her mind to everything; she would serve as the opposite, a Balance for her Plenyt. As the working is released, the minds of every un-Bonded creature in the clearing are thrown open, shields are evaporated, they are completely vulnerable.
The first to move hesitantly is the silver-gray future Rian. She moves delicately, searching for the one meant for herand she finds it in Rhowenon, her mind voice a gentle hum, she speaks to the girl eagerly, excitedly. -Rhowen, I am Ariannaid, your Bonded.- She rubs affectionately against her newly Bondeds leg, eyes shinning with delight and welcome.
Apparently heartened by his sisters example though truly, they are no longer sister and brother the youngest is the second to go forth, and he heads for Shak, some vestige of his amusement shows still in his bearing, even at this auspicious occasion. -Shak, I am Chwarddiad, do you want food or sleep first?- He seems to laugh still, as if there is some great joke going on, and perhaps there is to him.
The blue and black males make a show of circling slowly, and the eldest pauses before Chysta, drawing out this moment as long as he is able, keeping the young woman in suspense. -My dear,- he says confidently, -I am Cyferbyn, and Im rather hungry. Of course,- he continues suavely, -if you should prefer sleep, then by all means, we can commence with that first.- Ruining his solemnity, he butts against her leg and purrs, a smooth, urbane sound, quite unlike his mothers. Histwin? Not quite, but close, heads towards the young man with similar coloring, and makes no pretense at gravity, showing his affection with abundance and enthusiasm. -I am Cellweiriwr! You should probably call me Weir or Cell instead. Long names seem to run in the family though!-
The second Fach trots towards Rhaki, her head tilted charmingly. -I am Glasgoch, and you are now my Bonded. You look like you need rest, and so do I. So, shall we sleep before we eat?- Her voice is authoritative, but also a trifle nave. She is eager to get to know her new Bonded more closely, despite the fact that they now share minds
The almond and silver walks smoothly towards Tiamat, and greets her warmly. -Tiamat, Im Hydref, and Im now your Bonded. Congratulations on your good luck,- he adds with a small, mental chuckle, and the equivalent of a smile. -Nap or dining? There should be ample food available, but it may grow cold. However, if were tired while we eat, we may not appreciate the flavor and I would very much like to try new things. Meats well and good, but such a grand occasion deserves something special. No?-
With confidence born of long consideration, the vibrant black and red male makes his way towards Maia. His mental voice is a husky purr, honey sweet. - I am called Anfanol, Maia. We are to spend the rest of our lives together you know.- He gazes adoringly at her, though there is something like kindness and sympathy there too.
The last is the third Fach, and her varied coloring makes an splendid picture as she slowly and considerately walks towards Kendra. -Kendra, Im Tywysoges. And we are going to be absolutely splendid together.- She nuzzles the young woman and adds confidently, -Believe me.-
Cariad releases her majiick and Jallya claps her hands for attention, Terrun stands beside her smiling, his hands around her waist. Congratulations to the new pairs! Theres a feast of splendid proportions waiting for you in the Goldbirth Clearings. There should be enough for everyone and your Wytti so dont worry if you need to sleep for a bit first. Therell be lots left over. Terrun nods, and smiles. My sympathies to those of you who did not succeed. Please do not hesitate to try for the next litter. And the one after if you are still unsuccessful. My congratulations for those who did find lifemates this time around. Youre a very privileged bunch. At least until lessons start, that is. Accompanied by their Wytti, the two Dwi make their way out towards the clearings, talking softly to each other.

A gracious incline of her magnificent head, allows the newest arrivals - and their gifts! - into the clearing. Her own raspy purr is bestowed upon Vyusher as Jallya places the jewels on her Bonded, and Llynmynydd (the Wytti had both bent down as to allow her access to them - the ornaments weren't meant for the knees) and she flashes a grin at her Bonded. "Vain," Jallya murmurs, and Cariad replies with an arrogant sniff. Llynmynydd is clearly as amused as his 'Mate's Dwi, though he carefully keeps that out of Cariad's eyesight - and thought-range. For her part, the Rian ignores them both, and sends Vyusher towards the blue and black pair, along with the girls who look like him. The jewelry reserved for her daughter she gives to Jallya, the Dwi would no doubt give it to the lucky one who Bonded with the silver-gray Fach...A real beauty that one. The next two arrivals get a nod, the girl towards the almond and silver, the last male towards the energetic game going on with the black and red and the white and gold Plenyt.
((OOC: Okay, everyone, this is a short post cause I'm writing up the Bonding post as we speak. ^_^ If you're lucky and this Coke does what it's supposed to, it'll happen tonight.))

She rolls the ball towards the Bach before scratching him under the chin. He was cute & very magnificent, even for a young Plenyt. She smiled, wondering what it would be like to have a Bonded. She glances at the other Dwi playing with the creatures, wondering what would happen between everyone
Not fond of playing boyo?
