Daina stands uncertainly, unable to see what is happening, utterly confused. Sighing, her sightless eyes glance around her, as if trying to see. The blind girl sighs, feeling lost, confused and alone. Suddenly, under her limp hands she feels warmth and luscious softness. Her hands, stroking, realize it is her �playmate� �if her scratching the Fach could be called play- and also realizes that a voice not her own is speaking in her head. Dania, I am Ynys! Finding all the emotions overwhelming the young Dwi breaks down in sobs, tears running from her ever-blind eyes. What�s wrong, did I do something bad? the Fach enquires anxiously. Daina, in her current state, manages to shake her head in a negative. ~You? Of course not. But I�ve wished for this moment all my life and now�now I have you. You�re the most wonderful creature in all of Sicurheit Glen!~ With those words Daina throws her arms around Ynys, in joyful abandon, and simply stays in that position for a few moments, savoring the bond she and Ynys now shared, savoring the moment and capturing it in her memory forever. When she was old, she would recall -aloud to her grandchildren if she had any- this being the happiest moment of her life.

Cinead, unlike his sister, could see the going-ons, and with each bonding grew more and more nervous. One�two�three...four�five�six�he notes with joy that the seventh bonds to his sister, and then eight...only five left now, including the gold and red. Grinning cheerfully to soothe his nerves he reminds himself that his friend had not yet bonded. He smiles at the thought of the Bach, and returns to his normal positive self. Suddenly, in the corner of his eye he sees a glimmer of red and gold. There, before him stands the one his thoughts had been occupied with, and he hears and affectionate voice say *Greetings, Cinead! I am Llewbryd, we�ve Bonded you know.* Grinning, Cinead tussles Llew�s head. I know, and I�m glad of it. Now, what do you say? Shall we eat? *Yes, let�s!* is the enthusiastic reply. Alright, but first let me talk to my sister and see if she wants help. *No need. Ynys says they�re fine.* Ynys? *Her bonded.* Ah. I see, thank you. *Can we go eat now?* With a laugh at his friend�s eagerness Cinead nods, and together they leave the Glade, bantering cheerfully.

Daina, finally rising to her feet, smiles down at Ynys, even though she cannot see her. ~Did my brother bond, Ynys?~ Yes, to his playmate, a gold and red Bach. ~Could you tell the Bach to tell Cinead that I�m fine?~ Sure. After a brief pause in which the plenyt converse Ynys gives a feral grin and asks Can we eat now? ~Sure. I�m hungry too. After, could we start training with the first litter? I�d like to see�and see you!~ The Fach nods, and the happy pair exit the glade, not far behind Cinead and Llew.
