She sucks it up and says, "Sugar get away from Jd there is no way he will make it unless Riddler can try this last procedure and he can't with you right there hovering over him. I know Candy is doing the same and I'll snap her out her daze and take her with me, but I can understand Candy wanting to be with him more than you Sugar that is why I am being more upfront." Caroline walks over to Candy, "Candy, hey it is me, Caroline, 'member me your good friend. Look I am going to tell you something as a good friend. Riddler can take care of Jd only if you can leave his side for a short amount of time. Lets go and see if we can find a nice gift for Jd for when he recovers ok." She says sweetly trying to smile and not cry. She holds a hand out to help Candy up.
