I have a HHL and she got along well with our two ferrets. They played together and she loved to chase them and bark at them. We had them before we got her and so she 'grew' up with them from the day we brought her home. They would curl up in her doggie bed and sleep together. They died almost a year ago, within days of each other and she looked for them constantly after they died.
