There is an excellent company that will ground ship for $125-$150. But
they require the dog is: older than 10 weeks, all shots, wormed etc,
not on antibiotics away from a shelter for a minimum of 14 days
(usually in a foster home, vet office or proff boarding facility), if
fixed the operation has to have been done i believe 7-10 days prior to
shipping, no pregnant dogs, no beds, and payment can be paid prior to
shipping or the day you pick up. They have various pick up points in
New England. Their web site is www.petsllc. net Many rescue groups
work with them because they are strict with health and cleanliness.
Also you do not need to provide a crate or food or water and the dogs
are taken out every 4 hours.
