We have a 9 yr old crested poweredpuff and she is now the love of you lives. It wasn't always that way though. It took about 1 1/2 to 2 years to get her that way. They are naturally shy and if she wasn't socialize when she was a puppy then you have to really work with our pet. It takes a lot of patience and love. Just don't give up. They do come around. Mine did and now she is my protector and I am hers. She is a joy to watch when she plays especially with other dogs. Make her set in your lap several time a day and just talk to her and play with her calmly. You pet will come around I'm pretty sure. It just take working with them to do it. Good luck. My Abby wasn't socialize either for the first 6 months of her life. She's not the lap dog I thought she would be but she is still very lovable.
