Subject: Need help with 2 male Cresteds

Back in June I took in two male Cresteds from a bad situation, hoping to find them new homes. For awhile I was hoping to keep them but my husband does not like their ‘exuberance’. When they get excited about something they tend to vocalize. Ok – they scream. And they also bark in their crate when THEY think it’s time to get up. :)

We have been trying to housebreak them but since I travel almost every week for work and my husband is gone almost 10 hours a day for work we aren’t being very successful. A friend has them up on Petfinder as a courtesy listing but trying to organize the screening and home checks and everything while I’m on the road has been impossible.

Other than the housebreaking problems and being a little too vocal at times, these are the SWEETEST, nicest most outgoing Cresteds I’ve met (other than my girl). They get along with people of all ages (love kids), big and small dogs and have a respect for cats. They are NOT pushy, timid or scared. Wally gets car sick and hasn’t had a lot of leash training. Stanley is very good on a leash and is ok in the car. They are approximately 8 months old. Both are true hairless. They are both current on Distemper and Parvo but need Rabies and have not been neutered.

All of their issues can be fixed by someone that can spend more time with them than we can, to get them ready for a new home.

I tried contacting another Crested rescue but they didn’t have anyone in our area (SE WI).

I’m looking for a group that can take them in and find them the wonderful homes they deserve. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Lauri
