All shipping costs are at the adopters' expense, we do not list anywhere on our site actual costs as it varies from day to day, airline to airline, etc. It really depends on the dog, some dogs are good candidates for flying in cargo, others only in-cabin, and others not at all. The foster mom/dad is the one who makes the decision on whether a dog can be shipped/flown or not.

We have had dogs that have been in foster care for YEARS get adopted with no traumatization. But again, it really is dog dependent. As you know, each is an individual. Changing names is usually never a problem, though we do recommend that you try to stick to one reasonably close sounding just for simplicity sake. Most of us look at it as, a new name for a new life.
