First for getting into the cat box, what I did was got one of the taller, longer plastic boxes and use that. It is to tall
for them to get into. You can even cut a hole in the lid, be sure to dremel the edges and put that on for the cat to get in and out of if you want to. Steriods, such as predison makes them pee a lot more, so that could be the problem. Also, since you just moved he is still adjusting to all that.
