I would first recommend you try Zymox shampoo & conditioner, I've been using these two products for the last couple of months and I find them to be superior to most antibacterial/anti-fungal products. They are not as drying to the skin, seems to really tackle the pimples/acne, they're very economically priced (I get mine from entirelypets.com) and the added bonus is they smell good unlike most medicinal shampoos. As for blackheads, I swear by the yogurt/honey mix. Simply take 2/3rds plain yogurt and 1/3rd honey, & mix them together (let yogurt warm to room temperature); slather it on your dog all over the afflicted areas, let sit for 7-10 minutes (and if the dog licks it's no big deal), then use a facial scrub (like a Buff Puff) and gently wipe off, then rinse. You can then follow up with the Zymox shampoo/conditioner. However, be forewarned that in some cases, using this home remedy can make the skin worse before it gets better so don't be alarmed. The yogurt is a natural exfoliant and the honey has antibacterial properties. In essence, what you're doing is bringing all the impurities to the surface, and over time you'll eventually get them under control. After bathing, follow up with a light rub down of olive or almond oil. This will moisturize the skin without clogging the pores.

Let us know how it goes.
