My crestie is a VERY hairy hairless who is fairly good with shaving his body, but absolutely will not allow us to shave near his face. He looks terrible as far as being neatly groomed, because his face is so bushy & unkempt. Although I comb his facial area, he has really awful tear staining & eye goo (no infection, just the way his eyes are!. I do have a larger dog that must be medicated with 25mg of benadryl before nail clipping. Would this work on my crested? Restraining him is next to impossible-he seems to be able to squirm away in his own skin! I was wondering if there is a really quiet-running small clipper on the market. One more question, please-my vet says that our crestie is huge compared to the few he has seen. He is about 17 pounds (I am not certain of his height at the shoulders-I will have to measure. He is tall & slender.). He is purebred. Thanks very much for any advice!
